yes, I'm trying to purchase tag. I don't have all the proper paperwork. had my daughter to go get me a tag. associate at dmv told her I don't have all proper paperwork to get a tag, I have called to get paperwork but no answer. I have sent text messages. I got a reply off that saying I need to go to another dealer get paperwork from that dealership. I feel the need I shouldn't have to get off work to go about an hour my way when I didn't purchase the from other dealership. all I ask them to is send it to my email and I can print it out and have my daughter to take back up there. my due date is coming past due to retain a tag. I'm have to pay a late penaltyBusiness response

Customer has been given their registration documentation. We were having difficulties with our phone system at one of our locations and unfortunately this caused a delay for our customer. We have apologized and made sure that ************** received the proper documentation. We have also followed up to make sure that he was able to register in which he did confirm that he was. I bought my first car from star imports on August 4th 2022. Within less than a month of having the car it would not shift into gear and i could not drive the car. I had to bring it to a **** dealership they partner with where it is still currently sitting. I was placed into a different car and they transferred the deal over on September 7th 2022. The new car they put me into is having the exact same issues and will not crank now either. I have tried to contact the dealership and have only been met with silence by the person who originally sold me the car. She will also not give me any contact information to reach her boss (the owner) *******************************. I have reached out to their other dealerships in *********** since i live an hour away from the original dealership in Mobile, ** just to see if there was anything else that could be done. He proceeded to block me off of his phone so i have no way to contact him either unless i call up to the dealership itself. I was told he would not give me the bosses number and that i needed to contact him on *********** when i went to contact ***** i sent a very thorough message explaining the problem since the communication seems to be at an all time low at their dealership. I was met with a very nasty message telling me he will not talk to me any further as i informed him i will be contacting a lawyer if i cannot get a resolution. He then proceeded to block me on ******** and i now have absolutely no way to contact anyone involved into the matter unless i go up to the dealership an hour away (which is very hard without transportation) and confront them in person which i imagine wouldn't end well on my part. Im at a loss due to the fact the vehicle is my only form of transportation and it is now effecting my income. I have documented every part of this process and would be more than happy to provide anything needed to get some kind of resolution. Thank you for your time.Initial Complaint

I was sold a 2015 Lexus IS250 F sport for $19,000 after taxes and everything it came out to $23,000. It is not worth the amount I paid for it the car is falling apart I've been back and forth with this business about the car since I purchased it. I was told by employee Mike "giving the car back is not an option" he also very rudely asked "Well what do you want me to do about it?" I have yet to speak with the owner. Everytime I have gone in to complain it was a line of others complaining of problems with cars as well. This business should be shutdown do to them buying junk cars that they have to piece together and then inflate the price.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2021/08/23) */ ***Document Attached*** Star Imports sold *************** a 2015 Lexus IS250 F sport as-is on 04/14/2021. attached is the due bill at the time of sale stating we would provide her a grill because at the time of sale the grill was cracked. at some point between 4/14/21 and 7/27/21 at the time of complaint a bumper or fender well "somehow fallen off the car". this had nothing to do with the part replaced on due bill and was not a issue at time of sale and in no way star imports responsibility. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2021/08/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not accept their response, it was way more wrong with this car than just the grill. The hood of the car was also replaced and the door had to repaired and also a switch which controls the windows because it was functioning at time of purchase. I informed 2 Star imports employees of the things wrong with the car which included the front and back bumpers not having clips in them. I made Catherine F******* aware of this on several different occasions from the time of purchase. During one of these occasions she herself stated that the cars arrive damaged and she cleans and polish them a certain way to make them "appear nice." She was also the one whom told me that the cars are wrecked and damaged vehicles that are purchased from insurance companies that have declared the cars a total loss. I even heard the owner mention that a Infinity suv that he had recently went and gotten none of the doors would open on the driver's side a few days later it was out on the lot for sale. This place should be heavily investigated for the shady devious things that they are doing before they get that one customer that's not going to be so nice and someone gets hurt. I just so happen to spare them because none of the low lifes that work here are worth me going to person over.
