I kept getting calls by PFC, LLC. I didnt understand why until I answered-********************************, a ER doc with Jackson Hospital, apparently billed me in October of 2020. Im active duty military-and neither ******** nor I ever received a claim or bill about this. Now this bill has gone to collections and impacts my security clearance, ability to serve my nation, and put food on the table for my child all because someone working with this physician and this hospital failed to file a tricare claim and failed to send me a bill. Now I have an unpaid collection.I tried calling the hospital and was met with a nurse who was rude, refused service, and had no interest in helping me. I was also met with a TriCare representative who is legally unable to provide a letter of any kind to prove that ******** never received a bill from them.So now Im stuck with a notice from collections, a hospital with zero information, and Humana who is useless without a bill all because someone never did their job right in the first place. How is it that all other bills were paid for the same date of service from the same hospital and different providers yet this one provider couldnt figure out how to go about the process? It is now impacting me in a HUGE way and no one has answers or a way to fix this. It isnt right. I have ******** prime-no healthcare bills should be going to collections.Customer response

Good day,
I spoke to a billing Manager, ************************
He was able to confirm that what the billing company did was illegal and I had grounds for a lawsuit.
He found a POC named ******* who was able to pull the collections process and halt it.
I confirmed with the collections company this morning that my case was indeed closed and that the company had to deal with the cost, not me.
I believe this issue has been resolved, but it is definitely not okay how it happened. The billing manager is the only person who helped me after contacting numerous POCs. I could have lost my security clearance for the billing companys illegal actions.
I hope you post my issue publicly so that more people are made aware.
