Sept 21, 2023 - Purchased a series of 3 RF microneedling services from Growing Younger Nov 14, 2023 - Availed of the first RF microneedling service without incident Jan 11, 2024 - Availed of the 2nd RF ********************** * The aesthetician performed deep RF Microneedling which resulted in ABNORMAL scarring and discoloration on my face. Jan 16, 2024 - I reached out to the owner of the business and was told that he will inform the aesthetician regarding my results. I sent him pictures of the TERRIBLE scarring on my face. Jan 19, 2024 - The Aesthetician texted me and informed me that what I am experiencing is completely normal. I told her that I have done deep microneedling before but have not had this kind of results even after a week into it. Jan 23, 2024 - I came to visit the medspa and spoke with the owner to show him the discoloration and scarring that was left on my face. He dismissed my concerns and gave me cream to put on my face. He didn't provide any instructions on how to use the cream and was very rude when speaking to me as if I owed him the cream. Jan 29, 2024 - I reached out to the business through their published business email for a full refund but my email remains unanswered.Feb 4 - The discoloration and needle marks remain on my face. I want a full refund of what i paid for. I will have to spend money to correct the mistakes they caused on my face. The refund I am asking would not even cover for it. I also want the owner to apologize for being dismissve.Business response

First of all above is the paperwork that Growing Younger Clinic doesn't give refunds and this was signed by the patient.Second of all, the patient understood that RF microneedle is a deeper treatment of the face and after she came in after the treatment myself or 3 other workers here could not see what she was referring to. I even gave her a complimentary skincare which is good for post procedural care. Seems to me she is wanting her money back period. I explained to ************************ she would have a credit for the other 2 of her treatments.

I am rejecting this response because:1. I have had deep ** microneedling before. ** microneedling is not new to me, as I have been getting services from a MedSpa in ******* prior to moving to *******. After every deep ** microneedling, I understand that there is a time for healing, and after that, my face always turns out better than the last. However, the results from the Growing Younger clinic were abnormal, as they caused discoloration and scars on my face.
2. When I went to Growing Younger clinic two weeks after the unfortunate procedure, the owner was very dismissive of my concerns. It is true that the owner of the medspa gave me a cream. The cream that he gave me did nothing to address the discoloration and scars. The cream he gave me was for dryness of the skin. His staff that day said that the redness and discoloration should go away -- the staff was not dismissive, unlike the owner. The owner is lying when he says the 3 other workers didn't see anything. It was just another staff that looked intently at my skin.
3. I attached pictures of my cheeks and underlip. The pictures were taken today. The discoloration and scars caused by the ** microneedling I did with them still prevail. It did not go away. I now have to seek the services of a dermatologist to correct this. They should be happy I am not asking for more than the full refund because correcting what they did on my face is going to cost me more.
4. I am asking for a refund not because I had a change of mind. I am asking for a full refund because who in their right mind would want to go back to their medpsa after a botched procedure? I do not want a credit because I do not want to go back and get their services. I do not want to make my face worse than what they caused.

The patient should had reviewed our paperwork before signing it. The patients daughter also comes for laser hair removal. She has disputed both hers and her daughters charges and both sheets were signed.

I am rejecting this response because:1. First of all, I am only disputing the $499 I paid for the ** microneedling.
2. Second, that does not change the fact that you provided botched service to me. You owe it to your patients to provide a high standard of care. The audacity to expect your customers to return to your practice after terrible results is unacceptable. I did not suddenly change my mind; this is not on a whim why I am asking for a refund. I am asking for a refund because I don't want to suffer more than I am now from the service you provide. I should even be asking for compensation to correct the discoloration and scars on my face.
I want a full refund of $499.
