Over the span of three months, I took my car to A and D three different times for the same issue which was coolant leaking out rapidly. Each time I was charged a diagnostic fee and the last time I was told it was a valve which I paid over $500 to replace. The Saturday after they put the valve in to "fix" it (Oct 30) my coolant and engine light both came back on. I notified them and they said it was no big deal. Th next day, (Sunday oct 31) my car broke down two hours from home for the same thing I had them "fix." I had to have the car towed to Ford (the maker of my vehicle) and they said the hoses were completely rotted and that there was never a valve issue that the light that was on was specifically indicative of the hoses leaking. I paid them to replace the hoses and preform a pressure test (which A and D never did) and the issue was fixed. I want to be reimbursed for the $500 valve that didn't need to be replaced and I feel like they should also pay for my $300 tow fee because they told me my car was fine and that they had fixed it the day before I broke down with my kids in a different city.Business response
