I purchased a 2022 Terrain from Tameron Gulf Coast GMAC in December 2021 in ******, AL with only 9 miles on the odometer. I waited about a week before the SUV arrived in ******, AL due to trucks not deliver timely. I made my first payment on 03/01/2022. On 06/16/2022, I had taken my lunch break at work and went to the curb market. My car would not crank when I got into the SUV. It act as if it would start but would not. Also a loud thumping sound were coming from the back of the SUV. It finally crank so I could make it back to the office. At 4:30 when I was leaving work, it would not crank again. I keep trying until it crank and I drove the SUV home. I call and spoken with ******* in the service department and stated on this same day, I would bring it in. I explained to him that the car will have to be towed. I called GMAC towing and the car was towed to ******, AL on 06/17/2022. ******* call and I explained what the SUV was doing. He did keep in contact with me about was was happen. A week later on 06/28/2022 myself and my son, ***** went to pick the SUV up in ******. I was told it was a fuels is the reason why the car would start and a fuel pump. This a brand NEW CAR 2022. We driven off the car lot and made it to the light turning into Walmart (which is a about a 1/3 is a mile from the car dealership) the car started to smoke and the smell was not good. A car next to me stopped and was waving me down to let me know that the SUV was smoking. I pulled over to the Shell station and called ******* to let him know what is going. I took the car back to the dealership. They kept the war for another week. A older gentleman brought the car to my job and picked up the loaner truck. The next name when I got in to the car to come to work the SUV would not start. I would not make a sound. All of the interior lights was working. Called ******* again and explained the situation. He stated to call OnStar and they will sent out a tow truck. Thanks, ******** ***** *** *** ****Business response

Thank you for sharing this information with us. We are presently waiting for a part to come in from GM to hopefully repair your vehicle. We understand that it has been inconvenient for your vehicle to be at the dealership on 3 occasions and also driving a dealership provided rental is sometimes inconvenient. We have contacted GM on your behalf communicating to them that you are seeking a replacement vehicle. The next step would be for you to reach out to them and share your experience. We are very sorry that this issue has happened with your vehicle and we are doing everything within our power to expedite the parts and the repairs.
