2 starsBenton Nissan sold me a lemon. Less than 30K miles and just over a year my Nissan Rogue needed a new transmission, new engine turbo fan, and a new evaporator. With multiple visits and smaller issues as a result, this product has cost me time and stress. Most importantly, my car has now been deeply devalued by these issues. Everyone has been kind, but despite the Christian music playing in their dealership, they have put themselves above their customers. If they wanted to do what was right and keep me as a customer, they would have given me my money back or a replacement car at equal value. Nissan screwed us over, and because Alabama's lemon law has not been changed in 40 years to put customers first, I have been a victim. I made a purchase in good faith of the product. I made an investment. Not only have I lost all confidence in the product, but I have been hurt as a result. I will do everything I can to get the word out not to buy Nissan and do everything in my power to see that Alabama's lemon law at least matches the other Republican states.Review fromWilliam R

1 starThe staff there are incompetent and rude. It took our salesman ******************************************************* the system. We had to tell him a million times what we wanted and in the end never even got what we asked. We sat there for hours up until closing where during that time they spammed credit checks causing our score to go down. In the end, we never got the vehicle we wanted. Head to hallmark nissan instead. The staff are actually smart and friendly. We were able to reach a fair deal within 2 hours of arriving. ******** is smaller but its staff greatly outperform Benton's circus.Review fromBrett B

1 starThey got me with the old wear you out and slip in an extended warranty. Ive been trying to cancel it for four months. I noticed and acted the day after purchasing. Buyer beware. You should probably look elsewhere. Still trying to resolve this issue.Review fromChelle P

1 starMy ******** Change **** Left ******* Cover off my Car. Now my Time Chain Cover is *********** is Leaking Everywhere. **** have such a Turnover with Mechanics. I don't know whether Oil Cover Being Left Off has anything to do with the Time Chain Cover or not. Be it as it May **** Left it Off.Review fromLAKISHA C

1 star4/23 I came into your srv ***** with a noise that was diag. as struts. My advisor was ******** he advised that I needed both struts replaced, I told him that I recently had the drivers side strut replaced at another mechanic shop. He replied that the technician heard noise in both. . On 4/6/23 I paid $782.75 for oil chnge and to order parts. On 6/2/23 the srvc ***** rec'd the parts. I paid $1,500.44. On 1/3/2024 I brought my vehicle back to the shop cause I was hearing the same sound frm last yr. I went back to the same advisor he didnt want to deal with me. Tech drove my auto and heard the same thing I was hearing. I arrived at the dealer around 8 a.m. Thurs. 4th. ****** told me that the prblm was the lower control arms and sway bar link bushings. ****** gave me a loaner. When I left I was reminded that 12/15/23 I ran into a curve and that could have caused the noise to get worse so I called my ins. *** and file a claim. I dropped the claim cause ****** said that the parts were worn out, but he was also telling me to stay on the ins. *** Than when the ins.Co. called and wanted to speak to him, he started yelling at me saying that he wasnt going to commit Ins. fraud. I paid $2,013.88 in repairs to drive off &have the same problem. I reached out to the svc mgr on 1-8-24. The svc mgr. gave me a call we went over my concerns and he asked when I could bring it in. I brgt my vhcle in on Wed. 10th I had an apt for 7:40a.m. I was told by ***** that they had duplicated a couple of noises during their road test and they are installing a chassis ear to vehicle. I brought it back on Thurs. srv mgr. tells me that its the strut mounts and tires, which ****** told me my tires were fine, & why wasn't I told to replace mounts w/struts.No way that there were 2 things wrong now 3 from the same noise. plus service *****. noticed that my hood isnt staying up now.I want to be reimbursed. I feel that ****** found the highest repairs & took Advantage of me.Benton Nissan of Hoover

1 star*****************/ svc mgr(RUDE). and *****/ svc advisor both are liars . Dealing with popping noise coming from my driver seat for a while. ***** lied stating a seat track was replaced on my car, which Im standing grounds thats a LIE otherwise the same issue will not be happening. took my car to Benton Niss in Hoover, morning of 06/16/22 when I notice the problem , with ***** explained the problem, we drove around for a while, it was explained to him no certain time the noise will occur. Get back to the shop, per ***** we can try some WD, but we will try to find out the problem, leave my car> go to work . Get back to Benton Niss to discover nothing has been to my car. ***** said he needed my car overnight (NO), no communication throughout the day regarding my car. takes my car back on 06/21/23 or 06/28/23 with same issues. ***** said we spoke with Nissan, and they said to go ahead to replace the seat track they go out sometimes, leave my car. Returns back to pick-up car, per ***** it's ready within the same day. Takes my car back on 05- ***** to report the same popping noise( drivers seat). This nice guy in svc rides with me to hear the noise which he did. ***** calls me with update that **** will not fix the issue, because they fixed it one time already and my car no longer under warr and the part warr has expired. Now I am getting heated and wondering, If the part was replaced (seat track) or if had a defect, because it is Unbelievable that LESS than a YEAR the SAME exact problem reoccurs. I spoke with svc mgr *****************, per Shan ALL 2019 NISS ROGUE have that problem, it is going to happen again, she can take me to ride in ANOTHER 2019 Rogue on the lot> I would hear the same sound. I told her Well it sounds like a Manufactory issue, if All 2019 makes the same noise. Asked Shan how long does it takes to get the part in, per Shan usually about a week, well my repair was done within the same day! ***************** did not speak to the client at all. ************************* did not handle the visit with the customer it was handled by *********************. This client took this problem all the way through arbitration an Nissan had replaced the seat under customer satisfaction one time and will not put another seat in the vehicle. All seats in the 19 Rogue do the same thing. Nissan North America sent a Dealer Technical Specialist in to ride with the customer and listen for any and all noises and never heard a noise coming from the seat. This issue will not be addressed again from Nissan. They arbitrated with this customer and paid her by extended warranty on her vehicle and told her that there would not be anything addressed with the seat popping once every 60 days or only when in an extreme weight shift situation. This is a closed matter with Nissan and the dealerships have been told that they will not be addressing this customer concern again at any point. She keeps telling you the same story that was what happened prior to Nissan North America ridding with the said customer . Please close this issue and take the same stand that she can not continue to complain about this.Review fromTameka H

1 star**** in the service department and ***************** has the worst customer service! They pick and choose who they want to give good customer service to.. I would half star but I dont have that option. Will never go back to Benton Nissan in Hoover.This is my second problem I have with this worker named ****! I dropped my car off at 7:30am today and **** was the guy I spoke with.. I was getting oil change and tire rotation and they was going to look at why my car wouldnt come out of park.. **** asked me are you going to stay and wait for your vehicle or are you going to drop it off I replied and said Im dropping it off. He said ok and then said we will give you a call and let you know what we find. Im at work all day and havent received a phone call, smoke signal, email or anything from them about my car! So I call at 4:30 and asked if my car was ready and and told the young lady that I havent received a call. She tells me that they havent even pulled my car back yet and that they will call me tomorrow.. I asked why nobody called me, she replied Im not sure so she goes to get Mr.**** and I asked Mr. **** why I havent heard anything about my car he said we didnt get to it and it will be tomorrow before they know anything.. I said but you didnt call me and let me know anything! And then I asked well did you at least change my oil and tire rotation, his reply no we didnt, why would we pull your car back 3 times? Im so done with Benton Nissan!! Im tired of not being treated right when dealing with ****! When I go to other Nissan dealers its not a problem!! This has really inconvenienced me! **** was very unprofessional and I will never step foot in that Benton Nissan on ********** hwy in Hoover.Review fromCharlene S

1 starBenton Nissan of Hoover sold me a Lemon 2013 Jaguar XF in September. The car has been breaking down every since I left there. Coolant Level Low, Water pump, New Reservoir, Wiring etc.. the car is a Lemon. Sand on top of Sand up the hood of the car just one problem after another and I have not had the car for 90days. Lemon Nissan of Hoover is their new name.
