I purchased a vehicle from this company and on the day after I purchased it my car began to have mechanical issues. I contacted the car lot and was told they couldnt help me to take it up with the finance company which I did. Then they wanted me to pay for a diagnosis test when I literally had just bought the vehicle and I felt robbed (I paid 3 thousand down) because they intentionally sold me a car with multiple issues. Fast forward the car has now been sitting in my yard since the 3-4th day. Im unable to take my children to band and football practices I have to pay $50 a day for **** services to get back and fourth to work and city auto of Hueytown is not aiding me in any kind of way. I call multiple times of the week and the salesman ****** is so rude he disconnects our calls or transfers me to someone else mid conversation with no warning I truly feel robbed. I would like to exchange the car thats all I asked and Ive gotten nothing but pain from this situation. I cant take my kids to school I have to walk them to school 7-8 blocks every morning in the cold and I paid to have transportation. I have the car in my yard it wont crank it wont move at all Im lost and need help because I feel as though they did this purposely because I was young and they knew they could run game on me. Please help me I dont know what else to do Ive tried being cordial with this business but the next step after this is for me to spend more money and get a lawyer I cant let this business take my hard earned money and I leave the situation still careless and without my funds. Everything in this complaint is false. They were given the name and number to the garage. They have a warranty that will cover towing as well as rental car. Nothing we offered was satisfactory.Initial Complaint

I purchased a ****** Pathfinder on August 21 2023 soon as I left the lot I went across the street to a restaurant and the car wouldnt change gears. The car salesmen *****, had the car picked up and taken to the shop where they kept it for a week. I picked the truck up drove it 15 minutes home and a knocking sound came from under the hood. I took it right back to the dealership and they kept it another week. I picked it up on September 4 2023 drove it for 3 days. The truck started jerking and the back wheels locking. I went back to the dealership *************************** told me he wasnt fixing nothing. I implied, well maybe Ill get a lawyer. He insulted me by saying, if you cant afford the repairs you cant afford a lawyer. I stated, the vehicle is for my daughter and it is unsafe for her to drive. ***** said I have nothing to do with that. Theres no guarantee when you buy a car.Business response

The vehicle was at our dealership on **** and myself and ***** offered to fix the vehicle free of charge and loan her a vehicle while hers was being checked out and repaired. I am not sure what more we could have offered. Our offer is still good today as well.

4-10-2023 **** edge sport 2013 paid $11423.81 for SUV I can't drive it because of a blown head gasket and it stops in traffic which is dangerous. I call the lot and the manager said there nothing they will do. Plus I spent $800 for parts and labor.Business response

The salesperson was called on **** by a belligerent *************** calling ** crooks and said he was contacting an attorney. He had never called us requesting any assistance which we would have gladly offered. Once a lawyer is involved the only thing left for ** to do is refer him to our lawyer. Again we would have been happy to assist had we been notified by a call other than the anger that *************** exhibited.Initial Complaint

My 76-year-old husband saw an ad for a **** Flex advertised by City Auto Sales of ************** He goes to the dealership to look at the vehicle... he purchased the vehicle without knowing all the details wrong with it. The young man named **** was the ONLY person my husband worked with (a person claiming to be the manager will tell you differently). He was told they didn't know all the details about the vehicle... but WOULD FIX THE TAILGATE so it would open, was told the air conditioning didn't work. My husband made a deal - where he paid $3600 of the $7200 - and went back a few weeks later to pick up the vehicle. When he came home I was shocked. The locks didn't work, the headlight and taillight were out - and a few other issues. We drove it back to the dealership - to have the items **** stated he would repair. NOW all of a sudden, it's a different person of contact... and he claims he has never had a complaint of any kind. I want them to fix the vehicle - OR refund $3000 of the $3600 paid... Yeah, I will eat $600 of my hard-earned money - I live in *******, ** - so its over 1.5 hrs away and I work... I appeared to be threatened by the manager of this location in a call to my personal cell phone (not on any of the paperwork) from #************ at 4:16 pm. I don't want threatening phone calls to my personal cell phone at work - all I wanted to know was the progress on the vehicle. I needed to buy a 2nd vehicle- but need to know where I stand with this one. If they can't fix it.. I was willing to add to it -and buy up to $20,000 - not I don't feel that is the best for me.Business response
