On August 11, 2025, Better Business Bureau investigated Economicalk’s business practices. This investigation was prompted by complaints alleging consumers are not receiving the items ordered on the business’ website and Economicalk is not honoring their refund policy.
According to Alaska Department of Commerce, Community and Economic Development, businesses operating in Alaska need to be registered with the state. Economicalk does not have an Alaska registration. On August 11, 2025, BBB contacted Economicalk requesting information regarding the consumer’s allegations and their business registration. To date, Economicalk has not responded.

On August 11, 2025, and October 16, 2025, Better Business Bureau contacted Economicalk concerning advertising claims found on its website, https://www.economicalk.com/. Specifically, BBB asked Economicalk to substantiate or modify the following claims:
- “Lifetime Customer Support”
Consumers report contacting customer support but they receive no response.
- “30 Day Money-Back Guarantee”
Consumers report that they request a refund and receive no response from Economicalk.
According to BBB’s Code of Advertising, advertisements should be truthful, sincere offers to sell. Advertisers have a responsibility to have substantiation for all claims made and should be able to provide that substantiation upon request. All advertising that may mislead or deceive consumers should be avoided.
Advertisers should only use “satisfaction guarantee,” “money back guarantee,” “free trial offer,” or similar representations in advertising if the seller or manufacturer refunds the full purchase price of the advertised product or service at the consumer's request.
