Terrible experience with finance manager Chris. Aggressive arrogant attitude when asked a question by my son about interest rate that he quoted. He denied that he quoted that and was very aggressive in his response. I would not buy from steet again. On the web page it says Chris has been with them for 20 years, think its time for them to think again about having someone like him work for them.

To whom it may concern, Please take into consideration my experience at Steet Ponte Volkswagen located at 5046 commercial Drive, New York 13495. My vehicle was due for inspection and service was performed on 6/15/22 invoice # 23333. I requested oil change, NYS inspection and correct a rattling noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. I was informed that the vehicle needed new tires to pass inspection and break work needed to be performed. I picked up the vehicle from the shop and was told they could not identify the rattling noise and everything under the vehicle was tight. A short distance from the shop after picking up the vehicle a loud scaping noise was coming from the tire area and the rattling noise was still present at this time. I was unable to go back to the service department because they were closed. I was unable to reschedule an appointment right away due to work obligations, so I had to wait. When I called the service department it was a week out for an appointment. At this point I would think that I would be a priority for them to get me in since it was not making that noise until I had work done on the vehicle. Total invoice $1,254.06 Second appointment was scheduled for 07/27/22 invoice # 24036. After my vehicle was inspected, I was told that the scraping noise was coming from the loose dust shields and they had to be replaced, please let me remind you this was not making a noise until I brought it home from the shop after the break work was done the first time. I was told that the ratting noise was identified as a wheel bearing, I’m pretty sure they are supposed to check these during NYS inspection but okay. Total Invoice $640.69 After picking the vehicle up the second time as I’m driving down the road the rattling noise is still there. Now I just paid over $500 for something that didn’t fix the problem and they never checked their work they did to see if it was corrected. I drove an hour to look at a car at the dealership. I ended up putting a $100 deposit on it. After promises made weren't kept in a timely fashion I canceled the sale and requested a refund of my deposit. After getting the run around from the dealership, I still haven't received my deposit back and it's been a week. No one at the dealership knows what they're doing and the communication between the salesman and salesmanager and service department is horrible. This was definitely the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership.
