      Rude management! Hateful, Corrupt. The women managers, Dawn and Carrie specifically, will laugh at the disabled and belittle customers. Their "friendly" slogan is a scam. Corporate is worse. They don't have values or care about how their customers feel. Horrible company!

      Mike, who works the front end at the Arcade Tops is rude and does not have the qualifications to hold the position he has within this store. He needs to be demoted or even let go!! Not a fan at all & I dred having to go into this store because of him!

      This is a mixed review. I love the store but had some issues on my last visit. I got hamburger and when I got in home it was clearly mixed with older meat and some was discolored and it was not expired. This has happened before in the past and just wanted to let the general manager know about this repeated issue. It was the family pack 80/20 hamburger. Also, another issue was I had a coupon and the package was 5.89 lbs. The coupon would not work because they want 6.0 pounds or more. All the packs in the cooler were less than 6 pounds so I feel I am owed 6.00 back. They did this intentionally so customer could not use the coupon. Other than that I like the store for the convenience.

      I placed an order on ******************** and when I checked out, everything looked perfect. I did the Buy 2 Get 3 Free deal for the soda and the chips. I was charged only for 2 sodas and 2 chips. No issues. Then someone shopped my order and when they checked out somehow I was charged for all the free items. How is it possible that I can check out and pay for an order and then someone can just add $42.12 extra to my card? I understand maybe a substitution may,make it go up a few dollars but $42.12? That's insane. I called Tops but they said this is an ********* issue and they can't help me. First of all I checked out on tops markets website. It asks me if I want to sign up to ********* and save 5% and I always click no. I understand it looks like ********* when you check out but the website says tops markets. It never says *********. Also, if it is ********* then ********* did it's job right because it gave me the deals when I first checked out but when the shopper went inside the Tops Market grocery store and scanned the items and checked out, all the free items went away. So that sounds like a Tops Market issue. I still don't have a refund. Absolutely unacceptable to charge someone an extra $42.12 and then make them jump through hoops to get it back. I mean, if what I pay at checkout can change that much, what's to stop someone from charging hundreds or thousands to my card and over draft my account. Our money obviously isn't safe at Tops or *********. I just can't believe this.

      Used my bonus card and debt card at the gas pump more than 24 hours ago to purchase $25.00 worth of gas. They are still holding $200.00 from my checking account. Called their consumer affairs line to be told "The hold will come off when it does"

      I paid multiple deposits on Primo Five Gallon Water Bottles, and upon return, I was informed by a manager named Steve, that they do not refund the deposit. Upon calling Primo, I was told that they should be refunding the five gallon bottles.

      Tops is the most wonderful store. The workers are really great and very respectful for being so young. Although prices may be high the deals and discounts allow for prices to be reasonable. The remodel turned out very splendid. I enjoy shopping at this store it's great.

      Tops deals are scams. My wife just came home and 30.6 oz Maxwell house we were charged $16.99 when they are usually $8.99. There is a buy one get one free deal going on but we only bought one. So the buy one get one free is still normal price and if you only buy one you pay the price of 2. This isn’t a deal, it’s a scam to get you to spend more $ thinking you’ll save money

      Between the cashier threatening me, breaking my products, and not honoring my tops membership card, this tops location is by far the worst in the state. The bathrooms are covered in writings and horrible cleanliness, not to mention they have had a running sink in the men's room for over a year and though I told the manager several times, it's still flowing strong. Upon asking for assistance they sent me to an associate who was rude and wouldn't listen before he hung up. I'll take pics of the green meats and the black veggies if that would help show you the quality of the work at this location, but I do think people would be arrested if the police saw the food they sell there. Avoid this place like the plague that could have started there.

      Tonight on October 18, 2023 around 630pm I was in the Dunkirk store buying a few things & planned on buying gift cards. Let me tell you, If you plan on hiring “managers,” I would have hoped they would be trained in how to handle & conduct themselves. I was buying $ 1,500 in 3 gift cards, and they let me know $ 1,000 was the limit. Okay, that’s fine. However to be intrusive & ask things such as “what are you using them for?” I don’t find that to be any of your business. While I can understand fraud is prevalent, your questions are not “Fraud” questions. Your “young” managers need to be trained to be professional. I, of course, felt I needed to act on the defensive. I was paying in cash. I showed proper identification & all. That should have been sufficient. The only one that was nice was the service woman at the desk, an older woman who kindly explained how there is a limit, which I have no issue with. If you give a tone of acting, a “better than you” attitude will get you nowhere. & this was done in front of my two children. All your “young” managers were huddled around me & my children. I am buying them bedroom things & snow gear for the winter & like to use gift cards so I stay on budget as a single mom. However, I will NEVER purchase one there again. If anyone should be the manager, should be the older woman who handled me at the end & knew how to count money & chose to respect me instead of accusing me of fraud like my money wasn’t good enough. $ 1,000 might be a lot, but I read on your website you like to do gift cards in bulk; for charities & fundraisers. Well I may not be a charity or a fundraiser but I am a human & I will not be disrespected in front of my children for GIFT CARDS, & while I am sure I know how this will go, I hope this serves as a warning to others be careful when buying gift cards at tops. Especially if you are of a different race.
