The folks @ItalyMondo are terrific. From the owner to the caseworkers (we worked with Mia) - they gave us exceptional customer service. My advice to all - do NOT expect "overnight" success, but DO EXPECT results. FYI - the Italian Consulates are absolutely swamped with applications, and they all seem to handle their case-loads differently. Our process took years...literally. Peter and Lisa did a wonderful job explaining the limited options available for my (quite unusual and difficult) situation. Peter was amazing to watch as he researched my ancestors and quickly uncovered information. There are not enough stars to capture the experience I had with Peter and Elisabetta. I found them both very pleasant and knowledgeable about the Italian culture past / present. I especially appreciated how they navigated through decades old documents capturing moments in time of my parent's family history and journey together to America. Be prepared for an emotional moment or two as it was also quite cathartic and helped me developed an even greater appreciation for their history and now mine. It is just a matter of time before I resume this process and journey with Peter and am anxious to start it soon. Hope that you will consider this for your own journey. I began working with italyMONDO! after booking a free introductory call. I had modest expectations going into my call with Dina, but was so overwhelmed by her generosity with her time and knowledge that I hung up and booked a consultation with the company's founder Peter Farina. Peter performed a live review of the documentation I'd collected. I cannot overstate the value I gained from this meeting. It was jam packed with great advice. I learned that discrepancies in documents that worried me were non-issues, and more importantly, that others I hadn't considered were critical to fix. And that just scratches the surface of the discussion. The bonus was a recording of the call and a written action plan that I can revisit as needed. I highly recommend italyMONDO! and plan to work with them until I make it over the finish line.Review from Frank W

The process of seeking Italian citizenship recognition is extremely complex, frustrating, and ever-changing, which means you need an expert guide to navigate you through the process. After several attempts with other consultants, I found my way to ItalyMondo!, and my only regret is that I didn't get to them sooner. In my dealings with Dina, Peter and Brianna, I found them to be extremely professional, deeply knowledgeable about the process, and terrific strategists in developing a clear plan of action for me. As I came to them after already undertaking a good deal of my document collection, I wasn't a good fit for their fuller service offerings, but I was able to hire Peter for individual consultations, which I found invaluable to keeping me on track. While I learned a lot from my independent efforts, I would highly encourage anyone who can afford a more extensive engagement with ItalyMondo! to go for it. You'll save considerable time and aggravation, and you'll be well-positioned for a successful application.Review from Kathleen F

Italy Mondo is an excellent company that I would highly recommend to anyone interested in obtaining their Italian citizenship. Peter, Brianna, and many others within the company were knowledgeable, patient, and committed. Each member of Italy Mondo staff that I encountered was so kind and helpful and showed professionalism. It was a long process for me due to many discrepancies in my grandparents’ documents, but I was given such clear instructions that I was able to have everything fixed. Plans were set for a trip to Italy to obtain the citizenship and unfortunately COVID hit. Peter and company did not skip a beat and switched gears to file through the consulate in NY. They saw me through till the end. I couldn’t be happier! Don’t look anywhere else. Italy Mondo is the best!

Lisa rambled on and on and we could hardly get a word in edgewise. While we could and intend to get a place in Italy we certainly had no chance to discuss this matter with Lisa. Please for your 15 minute free consulate DON'T use Lisa. You deserve better.italyMONDO! LLC Response

During our free initial Discovery Calls, which are available to everyone, team members generally go over the basics (approx. 5-10 minutes) before responding to any initial questions that a person has (with the hopes of learning more about their needs and covering general questions about our services). If a person's needs match the services that we offer and it's determined that we could be a good fit, that team member then offers the option to set up a more comprehensive consultation with a senior member of the team in order to dive deeper into a specific case. That said, I'll be sure to review your Discovery Call and provide constructive feedback to Lisa and the rest of the team.Review from John V

Italy Mondo was key to me being recognized as an Italian citizen and I couldn't have done it without them. I actually tried and started the process DIY and quickly realized after losing critical time that I needed professional help. I am so glad I chose Italy Mondo. Peter and the team were amazing every step of the way. Getting my questions answered and the team being so knowledgeable made all the difference to me.
