Ordered a remote start unit from WARMCARNOW. It looked like an easy installation after watching a few ******* videos. I received the unit promptly on 4/17 but had issues on installation. I reached out the very next day after delivery to clarify what I received and instrument panel wiring. He failed to respond but I found what I needed online. Then once I installed it in May I had an issue where it would set my check engine light. He told that I probably didn't have 1 wire secure. I double and triple checked that wire as well as all others and yet the unit still wouldn't stop setting a check engine light on my truck. Then, eventually wouldn't start the truck at all. I sent the owner a picture that the wire was secure and he failed to respond with any help. I finally got frustrated and, took my truck to a local shop and they found that I did nothing wrong on the installation yet they couldn't get the unit to work correctly either. The local shop said they would have to charge me diagnostic time to figure it out. I told them to pull it out and install theirs which works perfectly. I reached out to Paul to find out about this possibly being defective and he could warranty. All he wanted to do was argue and insult stating he had a 30 day return policy - what does that have to do with a warranty?? At that point I wasn't expecting a refund, but would appreciate him looking to see if it was defective - NOPE, all he wanted to do was argue and insult. He cited some correspondences I sent him, but missed earlier emails. Fine - obviously this guy is unprofessional and now other customers should know too!. The shop I took my truck to said that this unit was 10 year old technology which is what convinced me to change it out. Since he doesn't stand behind his product you should buy elsewhere. No reason to insult your customers!
