My vehicle went into this shop after reviewing their website and other reviews online. Three weeks after drop-off (after being told on the phone for 2 weeks that it would be done “that day”) I finally got the call that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. Once my car came around, the owner of the company handed me the keys and said “have a good day” and left. But there was still damage on the car. The owner said “well is this where the damage was? If not, it’s not our problem.” He denied that it was replaced and said he had to check the paperwork, While the owner was inside, I noticed that a piece of trim on my fender was falling off. When the owner came back he asked if anything else was wrong with the vehicle. I then showed him the fender and he said “not my problem, it wasn’t a part of the accident.” Even though the receipt for the work states that they were to remove the trim on both fenders of my vehicle. When this was shown to him, he stated that this didn’t occur. So they didn’t do the work that they billed insurance for, but also left the piece unattached. the owner of this garage then began arguing and raising his voice at me, telling me that it wasn’t his problem, that it must have happened previously, but I’m the only owner of the vehicle. For several minutes he continued to yell at me and fight with me about this, even though I kept telling him to please stop arguing with me, and I wanted to leave since he wouldn’t fix the broken pieces. My husband proceeds to call this shop to inquire why I was being yelled at and treated to poorly when they did a poor job on the vehicle, and the owner then told him that he wouldn’t fix anything done to a vehicle at his shop that wasn’t covered by insurance because then the money needs to come out of his pocket and that’s not fair. Once I got home, more things are broken also. Seek another shop, or you’ll be berated and yelled at until you leave, because he doesn’t want to pay for his own companies mistakes.Review from Justin S

If you like your collision center to give you your vehicle back looking worse than when you dropped it off (twice)… go to paintworx. If you like your collision center to keep your vehicle for multiple weeks for 2 small dents… go to paintworx. If you like your collision center to write a detailed bill charging your insurance for stuff they didn’t actually do (insurance fraud)… go to paintworx. I made a huge mistake bringing my brand new truck here to get fixed… take my advice and stay far away from paintworx. After sharing my story with friends and coworkers I’ve heard nothing but the same complaints about subpar work and insurance scams.Review from Atu L

Had collision repairs on my ***** **** done at this shop about 3 years ago. The bottom moulding on driver- side door kept popping out after a while and completely finally fell off. I found out instead of using new parts as they claimed on my insurance, they instead stapled the damaged clips back onto the old molding. Went back to Paintworx to ask for warranty repair and they refused claiming it was the driver's responsibility, despite presenting them evidence of their shoddy repair. Not only are they uncommitted to their warranty but they have potentially committed insurance fraud.Review from Lee J.

These guys are very dishonest. They scratched the chrome badly on my F window and didn't take responsibility. They used the wrong metallic in the parts painted which now gives the newly painted parts a green hue when sun is shining. And this is clear to see but these guys looked at the car a number of times and each time wouldn't admit what they did instead played as if they were blind and couldn't see it. Other body shops picked up on it immediately and gave estimates to fix it. Yet these guys won't even acknowledge there's something wrong. I'm highly offended that these guys could lie to my face after taking my cash money. By the way they wanted full payment up front before work was performed. That should had been a warning there for me. I regret dealing with these unscrupulous guysReview from Oldcars

I'm writing this as someone that has been in the automotive field for 35+ years and restored cars for 25+ years professionally. My daughter had a vehicle repaired by Paintworx Collision Center after a small collision. My daughter relocated to where I'm living and got a chance to take a look at the work done by Paintworx Collision Center some 3 or so months after the repairs. Unfortunately the work was not done to a very high standard. The repairs simply show a complete lack of care. The two lower fender bolts were missing, attachment point on the LH side of the bumper cover was broken so the bumper does not stay attached to the fender, plastic bracket that attaches the fender to the bumper cover is broken/stripped out, clip that attaches the LH fender/mirror trim was missing, small rubber seal no two-sided tape as per factory. And most disturbing of all is that the LH front wheel is out of round/bent. I called and spoke to Jim, he assured me that the things I found could not be the case and inferred that all this happened after the repairs. I sent pictures and a video of the issues and bent wheel to Jim and he promised to call me back. More than a week later still no call, I called Jim once again and he still inferred that all this happened after the repairs but promised to call me back the next day. A week later still no call. I called again and now he is "busy" and has not returned my call. To answer Jim's assertion that the issues happened later: The broken fender cover has paint on the plastic where the piece is missing, it was repainted while broken. The fender bolt could have fallen out after the fact but only if they were not tightened at the time of the "repair". Trim clip and two-side tape? They simply are not there. The plastic bracket was probably stripped out/broken because it was over tightened trying to hold the broken bumper cover in place. The wheel? could have happened after but since this is the only collision the vehicle has had since the repairs not sure how that could happen. Since the repairs show such a lack of care it simply points to the fact that the wheel was never checked. This is a ***** and not a high dollar vehicle, is this how they repair all vehicles or just the low dollar ones? I can only go by what my years of experience tell me and this vehicle was not repaired properly or with any care so my recommendation is to find another shop that does care! Why so many 5 star views? I found out that if you give them a 5 Star review you get freebees! Do the right thing and stand behind the work done (or in this case not done) and make it right! Where possible I have posted pictures of the issues.
