I brought my car in on 6/13-6/14 to have my hitch and wiring installed, which they only installed the hitch and charged me 160 cash. And on 6/16-6/17 the owner told me to bring it in and he would get all the wiring done with the original wiring I had. I than received a call from them saying they were only able to wire the break lights and I was okay to drive like that on the road. They didn't call me beforehand and tell me it was just for the break lights and whether I wanted to proceed, they went ahead and did that on they're own and charged me 162.38. For a total of $351.82 for a job they quoted me $200 for. Therfore the job was not complete and when I called and spoke to the owner he blatantly lied and said that he had told me and my wife that he said before the job it was just for the break lights, which I would have never brought the car in if that were the case. I tried to resolve the situation with the buisness owner and move forward but he is not taking any responsibility for the uncompleted and overcharged job. I had ordered the part he told me to order and he was still going to charge me again to have it installed on top of the 162.38 I originally paid him to wire my car. When I called to try to resolve this issue he tells me "well you signed the invoice didn't you". Assuming he ment it means that even though he botched the job there's nothing I could do about it because I signed the Invoice and paid. Overall I was overcharged for a job that was never even completed, and when I tried to resolve it the owner blew me off and pretty much said without saying "that it is what it is, and that's to bad, but you signed the invoice". Please help me resolve this situation, I am a hard working family man with a wife and 2 kids trying to resolve an issue that affects my whole family. Thank you
