Bought several appliances from Marcella's. Spent good $ for a fridge. Told life expectancy would be approx. 10 to 12 years. In just 3 years time, Marcella's charged us $140 to tell us it could not be fixed and even if it could be it would be cheaper to just buy a new one. I went to the store to voice my displeasure. No manager was available so I dealt with a salesman. All he really had to say was "it happens". I was hoping they would work with me on making this right but I was wrong. After much debate and with just a few minor concessions, I had to pay almost $1,900 just to replace the fridge that I had. I was never allowed to connect with a manager and had to wait almost 2 weeks for delivery. And then when it was delivered, my new fridge was damaged. I was told at the street that I could either get 10% off or wait another 2 weeks for a new one to be delivered (with no guarantee's that wouldn't be damaged too). I guess it happens quite frequently. So I accepted the damaged fridge so I could get on with my life. Now 3 weeks later, still no call from a manager or anyone to see how things are going or to apologize for all the inconveniences. It's like they could care less. People should be aware of this type of stuff. You think your purchasing a really good product from a reputable store only to be disappointed to find out they aren't any better than anybody else, in fact they are worse. Made my life difficult for a month (almost 2 weeks to get a service rep to the house and then 2 more for delivery) and their attitude is "it happens"!!! Buyer be aware....
