If it were possible to leave zero stars, I would do it. Both my parents are interned at Evergreen. They had paid for perpetual care. I did live in ******, and am now living in **********. Every time we come to ****** and visit the cemetery, we are incredibly disappointed. This last time, was absolutely the worst. We took a day trip to ****** in the beginning of April. My husband and i went to the office and spoke to ****** about the condition of my parents final resting place. There is absolutely no grass, which I understand due to water and the desert. ( However, there is grass in other areas of the cemetery.) The most upsetting thing, is there are many gopher holes. This is awful for a family member to see. We were promised this issue would be dealt with in a timely manner. We are still waiting. We have called several times, and continue to get promises, and no results. I also found ****** ( family service adviser) to be extremely condescending. We want this problem to be taken care of and photos to prove it. This is disgusting!

Dear Mr. * ************************* you for taking the time to let us know about this issue in the Cemetery. I went out and personally inspected the area where the Feldmans are buried, and do agree, in this particular section of Block 43 it has gotten quite dry and the gopher/ground squirrel holes are numerous. While it is not an excuse, we did lose 3 very large trees in this exact area last summer and we are still dealing with the aftermath of the changed terrain. I will have the grounds crew check the sprinklers in this area to be sure they are reaching their maximum distance as well as ask them to aerate and spread some fresh grass seed in that area of Block 43 and do our best to eradicate the ground squirrels.I do have your email address and will send periodic progress.
