I engaged *************************** EA to prepare my simple tax return for the year 2021 in early February 2022. I paid preparer # P01721435. The business she is associated with is A to Z Accounting Solutions LLC located at ************************************************, telephone number ************* and EIN #**-3016637.I am a disabled single mom raising three children on my own on a fixed income.Initially, she charged me $300.00 for the submission of my tax return for the tax year of 2021. Later in the month of February 2022 the 2021 tax return submission was rejected. It became apparent after the taxes were filed that one of my children did not have the ** PIN number required for filing the tax return of 2021. After I obtained the ** PIN for my one child and since I had been charged so much, I decided to have a national tax return service re-file the tax return for the tax year 2021.At which time, I was informed by the national tax return service that since ***************** was the original preparer, only ****************** could re-file the tax return for 2021.I contacted ****************** again to have her re-file the 2021 return. I provided her with the additional information. Upon the completion of the re-filed 2021 tax return in Match 2022, ****************** asked me to come into the office and re-sign the 2021 tax return that was going to be re- submitted . Once I was at her office to sign the 2021 return, she told me I owed her an additional $222.00. ****************** did not provide me with the information about the additional fee during our conversation when she asked me to come in.I would like to file a complaint against *************************** EA and A to Z Accounting Solutions LLC for charging me this exorbitant fee ($522). It is almost one month of my income.
