    I rented one of their properties for 6 years and when I was scheduled to move out which I did give notice in advance. Initially I was supposed to move in one of his other properties and he texted one day the tenant changed their mind and I couldn’t rent it. Since my lease was ending I had less time to find somewhere else. First when the water meter was installed I got a high bill and the water company stated it could be from 10 years ago as they have no way of telling when the water was actually used with the new meter giving an accurate reading. He made me pay the bill when it certainly didn’t belong to me. Next on the day I moved out we were late finishing up on the 2nd. I texted and told him it was after 1 am when we finished and could I come get the stuff up that was trash the following day as I had scheduled a trash pickup and he would not respond. I contacted him about my deposit after 30 days had passed and he stated there was trash left in the home. I told him I texted to come get it and he never responded so that he could let me in to clean it. He stated he had to replace the carpet due to a tear and a stain. We lived there 6 years the carpet is going to have some wear and tear. I was ok with him keeping some of the deposit but $800 plus making me pay a $300 plus water bill of overage is not fair or professional. I’ve rented before from him and never had any issues. The stuff remaining in the home I was willing to get out. He refused to respond to allow me. How is this my fault. Wear and tear and one stain on carpet again is something after 6 years he should be doing. There was a small hole in the wall that came from them bumping the wall when carrying the dresser up and it crumbled out. I agree that was our fault but it’s not a huge hole that is not easily repairable. I feel he should return half of the deposit. The stuff left in the rooms were mostly in a pile except one room but it would of took me less than a hour and 3 garbage bags to get up and I try
