I strongly advise against hiring Arnold's Home Improvement LLC for any home repairs or improvements. They have demonstrated highly questionable business practices in the Toledo/Point Place area, especially following the recent tornadoes. Many homeowners, including myself, have been left with homes in worse condition than before the repairs began. Several have had to hire other companies to fix the poor workmanship done by Arnold's Home Improvement LLC. Additionally, the owner’s conduct has been extremely concerning, with reports of erratic behavior and hostility towards customers who express dissatisfaction. For your safety and peace of mind, I recommend avoiding this company at all costs.

I'm so sorry to hear that you feel that way, according to our records we have addressed every issue that you brought to our attention along with providing you with some free materials as a courtesy for your dissatisfaction and offered you discounts on your projects. Currently you have refused to allow Arnold's the opportunity to rectify the project you claimed to be unhappy with after we have made several attempts to do so. Furthermore you personally scheduled the City of Toledo Inspector out to review the quality of our work and then canceled each appointment several times. However after the last cancellation we rescheduled the inspector ourselves and your projects passed inspection and you kicked the inspector off of your property. So let's be honest and acknowledge that Arnold's Home Improvement have made numerous attempts to make your concerns right and you have refused us to do so and you have not paid for any of your projects. Your claims are false and if you would like to pay your past due balance and resolve your concerns then you can contact our office to avoid further litigation. We have been in business successfully over 30 years and if any customer has any questions or concerns please contact us directly so we may assist you. We are not perfect but we will work hard to get the job done and strive for customer satisfaction.

very very very bad company to work for. buyers beware. they will come sell you something you dont need, they won't measure the job, they buy more product than needed then without telling the customer they will alter the contract under your nose to cover their extra expenses. installers beware. I completed a job and they refuse to pay me for services conducted. the home owner even called them to give me a 5 star review. Christina told me I had to show proof the job was done, if the customer called and said I did a fantastic job what more proof do they need? so I took pictures of the tasks completed and one with the home owner infront of their yard sign. then they said I needed to come in and complete some forms for payroll. i went in and asked how payment would be conducted and they said 48 hours after proof of job I will be paid. this was last Thursday 9/14/2023. then Kate had said she needed forms to be signed since every location is different she needs them sign before I can get paid. so then I go in and sign her forms and asked if they can issue me a paper check. she said they dont do that and that the money will be in my account at the end of the day. still nothing I call back and she said the check is in the mail. then proceeded to call me names and told me im nothing with out them and their company. dont deal with the hassle of using a company that knows nothing about business. this is one of those companies that have people wondering how their in business

This Installer completed a job and expected to be paid on the spot. His payroll was submitted on time and he was paid a few days after the job was completed. I spoke to **************** and this matter was resolved and discussed immediately.

Quality workmanship. Fast. Friendly. Reasonable prices . Total removal of trash.

I have read the other reviews and have to say, my experience was much different. My home is also an older home and had issues that had to be addressed. Rick just did what had to be done to take care of the problems. I haven't used the shower yet as it was just finished about an hour ago. But, it looks great and Rick was so professional and explained how to use the shower heads, the temp control and what I should and shouldn't use to clean. I live alone and was not uncomfortable at all having him in my home and would not hesitate to have him do more work for me.

Well, we like our shower look. Haven't actually tried it out yet because we are waiting for curtain. We are hoping the curtain will fall on the inside to keep water in the base. , but will say that what the salesman seems to have sold us and what was actually installed was different. (not the actual colors or style ~They were right, but like new insulation, wall stopped an inch or so being short of being flushed with a corner wall, and we thought the floor was going to feel more thick and not like thin fiberglass found on the bottom of tubs and showers. That was the problem with our bathtub, it cracked. I am glad that we do have lifetime guarantee. Another thing was that plumbing did have to be replaced and moved according to installer where the salesman said 'we shouldn't need it, it should be fine where it is.' Not true. So that cost us extra money. Again, we are glad it's done and we appreciated Rick installing it. He was very nice and sounded very confident on the use of it. Thank you!!

We had work done at my fathers home. He is bed ridden and 3 Purple Heart recipient. The work to be done was a "complete" bathroom remodel roughly $17000. I said I would paint but when I started I found many issues to be addressed. We were told if we buy the lights, sink, toilet, medicine cabinet, and grab bars at our cost; they would be installed for us as well. We were told the sink could not go were we wanted it, after they tried to mount it, leaving dimples in the drywall, from being mudded wrong. The mirror brackets are mounted incorrectly. We fear if we try and fix we will shatter the mirror. The vanity lights were installed where the sink was originally going to go (offset now) and is installed sloppy. They installed the toilet, however it stays running all the time. We are having to turn the water on and off just to use the toilet. They installed the drywall however you can see the seams and places that were not filled in all the way. The shower was not caulked fully allowing water to get behind the wall. The shower head was not the one we talked about. After letting them know we would take care of the flooring, they were going to get us a different shower unit for the difference, but they did not have one I was told, so they used a cheaper one. Every thing they did We will have to have fixed. **** ***** (Senior Sales Rep) will tell you lots of stuff they will do, even after asking for thing to be done. However, in the contract they nicely add "- Arnold's Home Improvement does not honor any verbal conversations". $17000 for a complete bathroom was what we talked about. We got 8 sheets of Drywall, and a shower unit, and some labor. If **** ***** is the sales Rep, I would ask him to leave and not deal with him. This was done to a disabled combat veteran and Senior citizen. All of this was to be covered under the VA SAH grant. **** told me that they work with the VA for us. This was not the case. Biller for the full amount. We are talking to a lawyer

I do apologize for any inconvenience with your experience you received. Our Project manager and installer returned and addressed all questions and concerns that your father mentioned. Once those repairs were made to your fathers satisfaction the Certificate of completion was signed off by him. However if there are any project concerns that you feel that were not addressed please contact our office to begin your warranty claim. Your project is covered under our 5 year warranty. What was supposed to be a 1-2 day walk in shower install ended up taking 3-4 days. The day after it was completed we had to call our local plumber because they couldn’t find anyone from Toledo to come and fix the leaks in the wall. The following week when we went to paint our shower ceiling, we found that they didn’t use a paintable caulk and after calling them, they had us go and buy oil based primer and then we had to repaint the ceiling again. This time frame was after the Christmas holiday and they were unable to find anyone to come back down again. The following week, the project manager came down and we showed him the caulking inconsistencies and 2 holes in our flooring due to the torch they had used. In the end, we were given an extra 6 month warranty on the caulking and a reimbursement to pay for us calling our plumber and buying the materials we needed. I feel that the quality of materials they used were high quality and the prep work was also done right. However, the end result of the caulking job was very disappointing. We are having my brother in law come to caulk over the areas that are not as well done as we would’ve expected.

I would like to apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. It seems like we ran into an issue while installing the bathroom which can cause an unforeseen delay in completion of the project. However, I do not see anything in our system regarding any caulking issues or holes so I am assuming this matter was also resolved as soon as possible with the installer or Project Manager at the time of incident. The homeowner indicated they were given an extended warranty and discounts for their inconvenience. All issues were addressed and handled within a timely manner.
