Date of first service: 06/23/2023 We went to Ash Automotive after Firestone had done us a disservice. We called to let them know about the shaking and I thought I needed and alignment. We were quoted for $257 for an alignment. We took it in and received a call from Ash that I needed four new tires. I asked the cost of that and with the middle best tires it would be $886. I told them to go ahead with the tires. I was then called again that ball joints were bad and needed replaced and that would go up to $1400. After the other car place had no mention of any of that, we were just racking up a bill. We told them to go ahead with those services I needed the car fixed as I was 37 weeks pregnant. We picked the car up and when we turned the wheel to the left there was a terrible grinding noise. We called Ash back to let them know and we just got "sorry we're closed for the day and won't open again until Monday." So, we refrained from using the car all weekend. We called back Monday (06/26/23) and explained what was going on and were told to bring it back, They told us the clips from the brakes were wrong and now our wheel bearing must have broke in the 2ish miles it took to drive from Ash to our home. We asked the cost and they wanted to see if it was just the one or both that needed fixed and they would call back with a quote. We never got a call back, only to tell me the car was ready for pickup. When I went to pick up the vehicle I was told it was another $400. The grinding had NOT been an issue until it was picked up from Ash on June 23. My husband tried to call back and the person was gone for the day. It seemed to be one thing after another just adding more to our bill.
