I've had the AquaSystem for a little over a year now. It was installed by Tri-State Water Power & Air.We were originally told my salesmen, that the system can be moved once for free. Any subsequent moves will be at customer cost. We Buy a house request to have system moved. Tri-State Water Power & Air will Charge $125/hr to show up late to have system disconnected. When I say late, I mean like 2.5 hours late. I took off half day from work to get system disconnected. Then they charge you $125/hr to move the equipment to new location. Then its $125/hr to re-connect system, and another $250 for the reconnect. Mind you the second time the Guy showed up late, and I Mean *****************. Like 3.25hours late. Called 15minutes before installing letting us know he ran out of parts to re-install system. WHAT!? Mind you I haven't been told about the annual servicing that needs to be done to my water system. I call to complain about late install, and the required $590 +/- they are wanting me to pay for showing up late Twice. I schedule annual cleaning, it has been rescheduled three times already.....Next Scheduled appointment is 4/8/24 during the solar eclipse....YayReview from KP K

Worst customer service ever. Incompetent install staff. They did not pre scheduled utility power shut off or turn on, they didnt show up with battery to generator, they did complete fulfill their install agreement and install the wireless device, they did not hookup to network for monitoring, they also mis configured the generator. I had to research and purchase additional hardware for network connection to include installing and configuring. Then I had to reprogram the generator with the correct date and test run information. I would recommend using a different company. They do NOT return customer calls. I would also not use ********** for generator purchases or for installs if they use this vendor. Worst experience ever.Review from Jim G

My parents purchased a backup generator system for their house about and year ago and have NOTHING but issues with the system. It fails its weekly test runs and worst of all it failed to run during the most recent ice event and frigid temperatures we had this winter in Missouri. Calls to the company for help have not helped. They send a technician two weeks after a plea for helpthe technician arrives states all is well and the generator fails its test runs. Calls are again made; a tech is promised to arrive two weeks later and states he has fixed everything. Only to have the unit fail to do its job again and again. Management has been of NO help! My parents are in their mid-80s and this system was purchased to help provide some peace of mindbut the system and the company has failed miserably. I urge you to NOT give another thought to buying anything from this company. My parents and I can certainly attest to their lack of competence and professionalism.Review from Toby s

We purchased a whole house generator last April delivered in May. Purchased a service agreement when serviced this last summer. We started having a problem with generator not shutting off Jan. 2nd and called for service. A tech came out Jan. 10th after 3 plus hours and ***** called several other techs and replaced several parts couldn't find the problem. He left between 7-7:30 pm. The next day we called tri state around noon. We were told it would be Jan. 30th before they could come out. That is not acceptable. Called the salesman and explained everything. We were then called and told it would be Jan. 18th this still isn't acceptable. As I explained we are going to have severe weather this weekend and early next week. Now if the generator will not shut off except by turning gas off do you really think I want to turn it on ??? I really don't want it to catch fire or blow up or catch my house on fire !!!! Now this has been great service. I am so glad I paid $15k for a paper weight !!! Thank you, ***************************Review from Laura A

I am located in ********. The salesman (*****) came to my house to discuss installing a 22 kw Generac generator. I had already had an estimate from another company for the sane product. Their price for generator, parts and installation was $9,880.68. ***** immediately tried to convince us that there had to be something missing and that was far too low of a price. I let him know that I had checked with ********** and that their price was about $6,100 so with installation that made sense. He then started trying to convince me that the wiring that is sold on those generators at ********** are aluminum and that his company gets the generator directly from the company with copper wiring, which everyone knows is better. He was lying like crazy in order to justify his estimate of $17,800. Btw, a simple phone call to ********** was how I verified that he lied. They get all generators directly from the factory and the wiring is only made one way. Let the buyer beware. Always fact check and never assume that a salesman is doing anything but trying to sell a service for as much of a commission as possible. I have no patience for people like ***** that try to take advantage of a 62yr old woman who may assume that I don't know anything about research. He also said that there would be a $425 a year maintenance fee. Everyone I talked to said $150. He gives contractors a bad name. Very unethical and should be illegal.Review from Karsha N

i contacted Tri-State Water Power and Air in reference to getting a generator installed. They scheduled for one of their guys to come out and discuss and quote me on one. Which he came out on 7/24/2023 we did in fact talk and he quoted tried to pull electronic credit agreement but stated his system wasn't working so he'll have to submit a paper copy. He told me that he'll give to ***** the person who handle that part and that she would contact me before processing anything. Which its now7/27/2023 and i still havent talked with ***** but she processed my credit applications without me authorizing her to do so. I didnt even know that it had been processed until I received a credit inquiry on my credit report. i forgot to mentioned that i reached back out to **** on 7/24/23 to tell him to inform ***** not to process anything because i wanted to shop around. **** also mentioned that the compnay that would finance to services was called Alley but ended up being some company called Greensky actual did. When calling corporate to see why my credit the guy Adam was vert helpful and tried on several attempts to contact **** with no until 7/27 he had **** to call me. Speaking to **** he basically told me that when i sign the paper form i gave consent, when he clearing told me the day he was trying to secure his sale that now someone named Erin should have called to go over my loan with me which i never talked with her and when i told him that it seemed like they processed that application fraudulently he told me someone from the finance dept would be in touch.I indeed talked with the guy didnt get a name but he was rude and basically told me that i signed the application and its was nothing they could do. I feel as if their trying to force me into purchasing a generator just so that can make a sell. This is very unprofessional and should be against the law. Im a homeowner and have made upgrades to home and each time i was also contacted before anything was processed. *** ****Review from Janice N.

We made this purchase via **** *****, thinking we were getting info on a Genrac and TriSate showed up. We purchased through them and on 10/25/22 we signed an agreement for generator service contract. Payments were to be deducted beginning 11/15/22. I have called every month and no payments have been deducted . They are nice and promise to get back to you, but never a return call. This OTP agreement was made with "***". These are expensive purchases and service after the sale is important. I noticed that they answer the reviews a lot quicker than they do actual customer calls.Review from Nicki B

On 6.10.22, a scheduled maintenance was performed on a water system purchased from Tri-State approximately 3 years earlier. This was my first maintenance on the system and it was costly, almost $800 which was never explained to me when purchased. On 11.1.22, I called to complain of low water pressure and a "humming" sound in my pipes that began after the maintenance. This is when my issue was escalated. The customer service person, explains I only have 90 days to report a problem otherwise a $155 fee would be charged to come back out. I explained that no one explained the 90 day policy to me, not the service person or the scheduler. Nothing was provided to me to read that explains their policy. I also explained that I had extenuating health issues with a family member who is now deceased (even offered to provide the death certificate), the manager reduced the fee to $55. I told him, I need this fixed but I know there are exceptions to every policy so I would write an official complaint, since he was unwilling to give a one time fee waiver. At that point, he began to reason with me about his policy and the "fact" that this isn't my first water system. He says, a person with my same name had one 29 years ago. I explained again, first water system, first time maintenance has been performed, you have the wrong person. In addition, I also explained that Tri_State missed the first required maintenance per scheduler, so therefore they scheduled 2 which is why the trip was almost $800. I think first of all that it was truly unprofessional of their service provider to not explain the policy or leave paperwork for my review, he was only concerned about payment, which had already been completed. I am asking for a one time fee waiver due to the circumstances mentioned above before I launch an official complaint with BBB. Based on other reviews....I think my experience is not a new experience for this company, certainly would not be on my recommendation list.Review from Phyllis T

I have been a customer for over 20 years and have never had a complaint until last year. Had my system serviced in May 2021, which was expensive, my water has not been good since. Called them, they came out in July which did not solve my problem. My water goes from gray/black like it has charcoal in it, then it is brown/orange from the iron in the water, I purchased a oxy tech machine October 2016 to take the iron out of the water. It evidently is not doing what it is supposed to do, in fact my water was better before I had any of their equipment. My system has a lifetime warranty on it and it is clear to me that its lifetime has long been gone. I had the system serviced again in June 2022, hoping this time my water would get better, but it did not. I called them, they came back out in July, my water is still awful. I called them again, they came out in August, all they have done is adjust my system to regenerate more often, causing my water bill to sky rocket. The tech told me there was a part they needed to put in my system to resolve the problem, he would get it and they would call me to schedule an appointment, never got that call, it is now October and my water is still awful. I want this issues resolved even if they have to honor the lifetime warranty and replace the system at their cost. This problem has gone on way too long. I am pretty disgusted with spending the money for the system and then all the expensive servicing and still having terrible water.Tri-State Water Power & Air Response

If the part was to arrive early in the week after the complaint was filed, why am I now going into the third week and into another month? I am not paying for a part to be added to a system that was guaranteed to do the job and I will not pay for the upkeep of another part that is being added to a expensive system that doesnt do its job. If the system has a lifetime warranty as I was guaranteed, why am I into the second year of complaining about bad water? I cant even wash white clothes in this water, I cant wash medical equipment in this water. Ive got a lot of money invested in equipment that doesnt do the job, and what is ironic is the tech told me when he was here in August that ********** had the part in stock, and we are going into the third month since then. Any part you add to this system will be replace and maintained at your expense, not mine. At no time in the purchase of the system was I told parts may have to be added for the system to preform the job. This is very bad business practices.
