            I entered into an agreement with this business to remodel a bathroom on 08/15/2020. The agreement stated the project would be complete no later than March, 2021. Total fixed price (labor and materials) was $42,600 with 50% deposit required. On 9/24/21 I paid the deposit by check for $21,300. I was told for months that the project would start once all materials ordered arrived at the contractors facilities and, due to Covid, many orders had elongated delivery windows. On 6/21/21, thru investigation, it was discovered that this business, although indicating they had, actually hadn't purchased/ordered *any* materials. Since past the contractual completion date and the fact that nothing had been ordered, I requested a full refund of my deposit which the business agreed to provide. With constant outreach over the last 5 months, I have received $18,500, with $2,800 outstanding. Despite repeated attempts, I have been unsuccessful in getting the remaining balance returned.

            Hands down the worst. I paid for a job to be done. He took my money and didn't finish the job even purposely leaving me in a bad situation. He absolutely has no clue what he's doing. He is not insured, licensed, or bonded. That is all a lie.
