      My husband and I are exceptionally grateful we found **** and Chuy from Advanced Carpet One in **************. Our remodel was abrupt and unexpected, so we were a little lost and overwhelmed. Working with **** and **** on flooring and a backsplash was, unquestionably, the highlight and easiest part of our untimed journey. Ive heard stories where people had to continually prod their contractors, but my experience was the opposite. **** was on it and was a fantastic guide through the process. He scheduled everything and led us through decisions, and he came to our home several times to bring additional samples and to check on the work. He listened and remembered our style choices and was always prepared with options that fit our descriptions. The hardwood floors, carpet runner for the stairs, and backsplash are better than I originally imagined.**** is a remarkably skilled craftsman, and his attention to detail is refreshing and quite unusual. Seriously, everything he did was perfection. He laid pieces out and carefully considered color and size variation. If something was put in that he didnt like or he thought was a little off, he went back and changed his work. He didnt rush or cut corners. Even his care in something as simple as proper baseboard removal and the time he spent locating and fixing floor squeaks was noticeable. He hand-stained the vent covers with various stain colors to match the flooringhe gave thought to the smallest of details. I had advanced knowledge when he was coming, and one night he even text to let me know he was going to be 15 minutes later than normal the next morning. Ive gotten to the point where ** excited when workers show up at all, so ***** professionalism certainly stood out. **** and **** gave us a sense of peace and relief in knowing everything they were involved with was done to the highest of standards. I am so impressed and will continue to recommend them to everyone.

      We just had them do two rooms. Our home theater with the best Karastan carpet and our family room with laminate. ***** rooms came out fantastic. Product looks great and the installers could not have done a better job. We had no problem getting the products or with getting the installs done. We highly recommend the ******* **. store and its employees.

      The experience with this company has been a nightmare. The salesperson, ************************* came to my home the 1st of August 2021 to show me some samples of laminated material and she did not bring much to choose from but I was able to make a selection of what she brought. Because of the disability I have I was not able to make it into Carpet One store in **************, **. I continued doing business with this store and salesperson because I had done business with them in the past. After making the selection I asked ******* when could she have the job compete and she told me within 4 weeks. I was okay with this. ******* emailed papers to sign and I thought everything was okay until I found out she was not going to no longer be employed with Carpet One and she said she could not tell me anything else. I job was actually happened on October 13th and 14th 2021. I called constantly to get updates on when the job would start and was always given dates and times. The manager, ************************* never reached out to me but I spoke mostly with the Salesperson in the store, name ****. He was very forth coming and tried to address my questions every time I called. When the installer showed up with two others to help with the job, they were not able to do the 2 bathrooms. The name of the main installer is **** and he told me that he only did the bigger jobs. I had my entire home done. Three bedrooms, living room, dining room and hall were all laminated. I chose something different for the 2 bathrooms. I have been waiting since 10/14/2021 to here back about completing the job.I still have not heard from the Manager of the store. I constantly called and was lied to or told anything to get me off the phone. Sometimes I was put in contact with the scheduler, which did not answer her phone most of the times. When I did speak with her, I was given totally different information than ****. The right hand did not know what the left hand was doing, and I still never received a call from the Manager. I received a notice by email that the finance company I used to finance $9000 was expecting a payment of $321 and they had not started the work. I called the store and told **** I was not going to pay a dime until the job was finished, I contacted the ************** to inform them what had happened and they closed the account, which closing the account affected my credit score. I was told by ****** on 11/8/2021 that the materials were in and she wanted to schedule me for 11/30/2021 to come out and do the bathrooms. I told her ABSOLUTELY NOT. I informed her that I have been taking off from work, waiting for this to be completed and I wanted it done ASAP. ****** called me back and told me she scheduled me for 11/12/2021 and someone would be here around 9:00 AM CST. After this time had come and went, I started making calls to find out what happened. I was told the truck broke down and she would call me to let me know what time they would be able to come. I told her I wanted the job finished today because I made plans for this day and if it took them to midnight to finish, then I wanted it finished today. I find out later that they can't make it until Saturday, 11/13/2021. I did not find this out from ****** because she lied. I finally heard this from the Manager, ************************* because I had called the store to get his name and I told the lady ***** that answered the phone I needed his name because I was filing a complaint. Five minutes later I received a call from **** asking what was the problem. I expressed how dissatisfied I was with the service and I told him that he should have reached out to me before now. **** told me he was not aware of any problems I was having. I told him as a manager and not being aware of the problems I was having this is unacceptable. There are also some issues with the installation of my laminated floors being complete. They ran out of quarter round strips and did not complete putting down; took a short cut and thought I would not notice it. When I mentioned it **** he agreed, it did not look right and told me he needed to go back to the shop and get more and come back the next week to finish. That was 4 weeks ago. I called him twice, he never returned my call and has never come back. Finally, I reported to **** that there are some indentations in the floor in one of the bedrooms. I have lots of extra flooring because ******* told me she ordered more than enough to be safe. So, I paid for an extra box of laminated material, which I was charged for. This experience has been less than professional, trustworthy and no communication whatsoever and this will be my last experience dealing with this company. I just want the job completed right because I do have to pay for it. Thank you.
