The company sanded and stained the floors at *** ********, Glendale, MO 63122 however when they applied the polyurethane coats to the floor they used some of the selected satin finish but other random areas had semigloss finish. Their solution was to buff the floor and apply another coat of the polyurethane in the correct satin finish. After my text on Friday October 29 went unanswered I again texted **** on November 2 "Can you do the last coat on *** ******** the week of November 22?" and he answered "No problem". On Thursday November 18 at 3:59 I texted "What day next week to finish at *** ********?" No Answer. At 5:53 on November 18 I texted" The plumber didn't do his job so there was a leak and 2 of the winder steps will need restained and finished also." On November 22nd. **** answered back" We are looking at Wednesday afternoon to deal with the treads then Friday for coat if that works." I answered back "Ok". On Tuesday I texted **** to tell him the lockbox code and how to get in the house as the homeowners were away and I was leaving town Wednesday morning. On Saturday, November 27th at 4:35 I texted **** "Did you get the floors done?" After no reply I called him Sunday early afternoon and **** said he'd find out and get right back to me. I called again around 4:30pm and left a message. **** finally responded by text at 5:05pm " I apologize for being so late But it looks like we did not get it finished I can make it happen Tuesday." When the Homeowners arived back home they informed me nothing had been done the week they were away. I texted back what he had agreed to and not done and the only reason they neede to return to the job was "their incompetence and poor workmanship" and that he would need to pay for at least 2 nights stay in a hotel for the family of 5. (refinishing the Living, dining, kitchen, stairs and upstairs hallway will mean they can't come in the front or back doors or get to most rooms in the house along with the smell produced).
