TLDR: Scott Credit Union messed up rolling over my auto loan, and now my credit score dropped from 809 to 651...A car dealership used the wrong VIN for a car purchase in August. It was caught in December and I re-did the purchase paperwork at the dealership. Scott Credit Union rolled over the balance of the loan to a new loan in January. I was paid ahead by thousands of dollars and had a consistent record of paying on the loan (The car loan was $10K for 48-months in August, and I owed less than $4K when they rolled over the loan in January).When Scott Credit Union rolled over the loan, they marked that the old loan was 120+ days late and then closed the loan... even though I was paid way ahead of schedule. Because of this, my credit score instantly dropped over 150 points! Scott Credit Union agreed that an "error" in their system caused this problem, and they reportedly submitted a correction on 2/5/2024. However, based on what I've seen change on my credit report, they just removed their previous comment stating "120+ days late" but not the closed account's status (that also erroneously states it was closed while ******* days late). I've called multiple times without answers, and have not received responses to any voicemail.In the meantime, I've had my disputes at 2 of the credit agencies "verified as accurate" and closed. I've had to have multiple phone conversations to explain the situation and get new disputes submitted just this week. Scott Credit Union has done almost nothing to resolve the issue despite their bank submitting fraudulent information into my credit report. Whether this was a just an accident or not, I'd hope that they would do more to fix their mistake... or at least answer the phone once in a while.Review from Danielle B

They are constantly charging me $27 fee at least 10 times a year. I have some bills that comes out on a certain due date they pulled my money out and pay the bill before the due date sometime and sometime after the due date, I have screenshots of my money being pulled out on different dates so that I can go into negative in my account just to pay the $27 fee for not having it . I shouldnt have to pay the fees if theyre not gonna pull my money out when they get ready to. I am so tired of this Bank. I am really thinking about banking with someone else. Its just I havent had the time because I have so many bills coming out weekly and then I have to switch over and thats a headache.Scott Credit Union Response

Such a headache having them as youre auto loan provider. Cant pay over the phone without a $15 fee. Cant pay online with another banking institution. Stay away from Scott credit union. Such a joke. Cant believe the St. ***** blues are associated with this terrible company.Review from Jamie T

They repeatedly charge fees that are in direct violation of the order from the class action lawsuit just settled against them. I have called and emailed multiple levels of management and all my requests are ignored. They have refused to provide me with documentation of my account specifics in regards to the class action lawsuit. *** has stated that KCC is the settlement administrator, but they say they are not and have no record of the lawsuit.Review from JMB M

My money keeps disappearing from my accounts. I put cash into my accounts August 18, 2022 and it has not been posted into my accounts today is 8/20/2022. I believe the Scott credit union is always trying to keep my monies to get interest for themselves. When I do a wire transfer from ** ** ** and they keep it for days and do not release my monies. This credit union had frauds on my account. I am in the process of taking all of my direct deposits put of these credit union.Review from Matthew G

Worst bank I have ever used. The *** at the branch i use does not allow deposits since it was changed out over a year ago. I have to drive 30 minutes in the other direction to make after hour deposits. They just lost a $15000 check and can't even open the *** till it gets served next week. They do not care about their customers and always treat me like trash. I will be canceling my account next week when I get my check back.Review from VINAY KUMAR Y

Regarding Loan Process:I have applied auto loan, I know my credit score and profile and score. Upfront before applying, I shared my condition to an agent that I have delinquencies that resolve long ago, can I apply, she said YES. I applied and got a rejection stating PAST DELIQUENCIES are the first reply.Better you SCOTT CREDIT UNION, UPDATE YOUR POLICIES on your website, that you WILL NOT issue loans for persons with DELIQUENCIES. if not I can help you run promotions to encourage ************** NOT to apply with PAST or PRESENT DELIQUENCIES at SCOTT CREDIT UNION. If I don't see that update in 30 days, the promotion will be up for you, it is okay. So you will get profiles and applications with good okay. So easy right!!Review from Chad H.

Lapse of insurance coverage during tough times. Life in general. This company charged me over $100 a month. The total coverage for a year on my motorcycle is only $175. They serious added insult to injury and took advantage of a situation. I would not get another loan from them.
