They file a claim on my insurance when I returned the car better than what they gave it to me and they are rude and they are a scam they dont fix anything like they said they would and they take and ask for more money than what they told youReview from Mitchell R

It looks like other reviews have a response . Is there a reason the business is not putting a response on this one Curious this may need further legal representation in a class suit. When you enter into contract with this company and fail to follow ****************** guidelines. They wont hesitate turning off nor picking up your vehicle. as well as doing whatever is necessary to gain what is owed per the contract. However what if they fail to follow guidelines in the contract. its like owe well they are the business they don't have to follow the contract. when you call they do speak rude & nasty I have recorded staff. I asked several times about what I am owed from this company they failed to follow company outlined contract . They refuse to (pay me) & make it right, after ordered by Judge. THERE IS NO WIN WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NOT FAIR TO CONSUMERS IF THEY ARE CAUGHT IN THE WRONG YOU WILL PAY EITHER WAY....WHETHER ITS LOSS OF YOUR MONEY, VECHICLE, OR GARNISHED WAGES. I will Never refer anyone nor will I ever do Business with this company again a company that makes contracts that are only enforced one sided but signed by both parties.Review from Tasha J

If i could write this review without aby stars I would have just started this leasing contract the people was very nice at first but, on 10-13-2023 I called in to pay my car note of $270 at 10:05 am that morning i am a teacher so i am very punctual and have the call log printed out from that morning i spoke with **** who is the manager and gave him all of my information credit card number and phone number so to my knowledge the car note was PAID! 5 days later i leave my job from parent teacher confrence my car would not start. i called the next morning and was Cursed out by the short asian woman and called a n***** by her. i asked to transferred i then was on the phone with **** and he stated that "You are a grown a** man you should have called us back to make sure" I had no words for **** and the asian lady. **** went on to apologize later on that day. **************** did call in his payment on or about 10-13-23. The card was ran but was declined. Our team member tried to call **************** back but the number was no good. When **************** received a reminder that his payment was due he called and said he made the payment. Our staff explained that they tried to call him but did not have a good number. To my knowledge there was no name calling and **** did apologize for the comment made to **************** as he was frustrated to be repeating himself over and over again.Review from Jennifer F

I was reluctant about doing this, but now I will NEVER do this again. I entered into a contract on Sept. 24 with this place for a ***** Captiva. I drove it off the lot, get on the highway and it doesnt feel right. I think maybe its the highway. I drive it later that even and vehicle still doesnt feel balanced. Not to mention the check engine light comes on. I call RTAC first thing Monday morning, advised of what happened. I told him I would prefer to void out the contract at this point. He rudely said thats not going to happen. I work while they are open so he said I can drop the car off to get it checked or I can use their tow company. The tow company advised RTAC only covers up to $100 for the tow and they wanted me to pay an additional $110. I call RTAC and spoke to ***** who was nice enough to get the tow set up without charge.They call me Tuesday around 12 and say its ready to be picked up. The vehicle needed to have the tires balanced and the cadillac converter replaced. Now, Ive been told be two people that they drove this vehicle and there was nothing wrong. Per the contract it stays they are giving me this vehicle in good working order. If these two individuals drove this they KNEW there was something going on with the balance. You cannot tell me they didnt if they drove it, I felt it as soon as I got on the highway.Im at the point now whats going to happen next when I pick it up.I spoke to ***** the manager there who was being very condescending to me. He told me there is no was to void this and get my money back even though this just happened on Saturday. I didnt even drive nor have the car for 24 hours.I have been through too much this year to get robbed by this place. My suggestion is DONT DO IT!! It sounds good but its not. I shouldve went with my first mind when talking with the guy and not work with this place. They are completely untrustworthy at this point.Rent to Own Auto Centers LP Response

Rent To Own Auto Centers has been in business for over 10 years. The vehicle 2014 Chevrloet ******* that this customer entered into a contract on had been serviced and test driven for over 100 miles with no issues prior to putting it on our lot. As soon as we learned of issues with the vehicle it was brought into our service department and our service team installed a new catalytic converter and balanced the front tire that was making a slight noise. The customer brought the vehicle back on 10/1/22 and our service tech inspected the vehicle again. Our service manager ordered three new tires that will be installed on the vehicle at no cost to the customer. Fortunately, neither of these issues are safety issues and Rent To Own Auto Centers has resolved the issues. Our service department does a great job servicing vehicles but they cannot predict when a part will need replacing on pre-owned vehicles.Our customers select the vehicle that fits their budget and we have a high customer satisfaction rating. Thank you for allowing us to respond to the review.
