      I would give them a -100. If I could !!! Dave Mungenast on Manchester Road totally took advantage of me. Totally lied to me, took my money, and then when they couldn’t do anything else for my because they were at fault for making my car worse they told me they couldn’t do anything else for me and they wouldn’t advise to fix my car anymore . between April and November I gave them $5000 to fix my Acura. I asked them several times if you’re sure that I should not fix it and just put the money towards a new used car? I was informed by **** and **** . No these cars can go for 300,000 miles 400, 000 miles. That I’ve done everything I should do and I should get at least another 1 to 2 years out of this car. However I had to keep on coming in because I kept having the same problem. Something to do with the pistons and the O-rings and it overheating . They never totally fixed it!!! then when it became a bigger issue and I guess it wasn’t worth their time or money They advised me they wouldn’t put any more money into it . And now I’m out $5000. I had to go somewhere else to get a new used car at a place that I am very happy with Bommarito South County. They have been amazing. I want people to know just what crooks the service department is at Dave Mungenast . One of the owners actually came on the phone with me and try to sell me a car for $12,000 at 162,000 miles on it with no warranty and they were only going to give me $500 for my Acura that I just gave them $5000 to fix. I’m very upset with them. I told them my situation. That my money was limited that I was newly widowed and they took advantage!!!! I would not trust them ever, I don’t know what else to say. I’m ashamed of them !!!! shame on you , shame on you Dave mungenast Acura !!!!!!!!!!.

      I had semi great experience when purchasing my car back in May of 2020. When I purchased my car I asked to have the windows tinted before I picked my car up and they were done wrong. So maybe a week later someone picked the car up, took it to get the tint redone at which they should have took the tint off and re-tinted but they actually did not they tinted over the previous tint. Which then causes a safety inspection issue since it is darker than 20%. I was having issues with the tint but instead of dealing with the dealership again I choose to go to a place where I normally would have gone had they not been shut down during the pandemic and they then charged me to take the tint off and re-tint the car the proper way. I then found out that I had multiple layers of tint which means the first tint job wasn't done correctly. I then informed the dealership after all I did pay extra to have this service done and I was basically told after 2 days of a run around that they always take the tint off before they re-tint it. Not that I can bring proof that it was done properly just they called and they said they would never do this. Well I first find it hard to believe that someone remembers doing my car a year ago and even if it was a mistake that is fine but don't call me out to be a lie in a situation and send me on my way as if I wasn't making a legitimate issue. Had I not had this tint taken off and failed a safety inspection years from now would I still be getting the same treatment? I just can't appreciate how much I paid for something to suppose to be done correctly to not have been and then be blamed like they actually knew what happened. I do feel this is poor customer service for not truly looking into this more at all.

We have seen your vehicle in our service department many times since your purchase, and we have no record of any dissatisfaction or issue with the tinted windows. When did this occur? Your last visit was the end of March, with no mention of tint issues by you, or by our staff that performs visual inspections on your vehicle in the service department. We outsource window tint to professionals in this industry, and they follow the guidelines set by the State of Missouri with regards to the darkness level of the tint, which varies from Driver and Passenger windows to those in the back seat and rear window. We would have been happy to take a look at the workmanship at that time, and assist with the repair as needed. Our records do not indicate a problem with tinted windows at anytime after delivery, and the vendor assures us that they don't multi-layer the film when applying product. I wish you would have let us know on your most recent visit that there was an issue so we could help resolve the problem. We will be reaching out to you for more information regarding this issue.
