This is crazy that I see someone has the same experience I had with this slum lord. I lived in the rental from October 2015 until May of 2021. During the almost 6 years of living there only 2 things were fixed which was the water heater that was actually rusted out when I moved in(which the repair company said it should have been replaced 4 years prior) and a washing machine because the motor went out and it was cheaper to get a new one then fix the old ancient one. This property management is a joke. Three different times, they put stress on me to uproot my life and find somewhere else to to live just to turn around and say never mind since they couldn't sell fast enough. But the icing on the cake for me was my 850 deposit . This slum lord basically used my deposit for wear and tear items. I was charged over 260 for a sliding door that covered the washer and dryer when in actuality the glue had come off the wood because it was old. I know there was a small hole in the carpet but they didn't even charge that much for that. I paid 200 dollars to get the unit professionally cleaned and 150 bucks to have the carpet cleaned when they were gonna sale the unit as is anyway. It's people like Joe S***** that make my experience living in Vegas horrible. I lost over 3500 because he wanted to make a bucks on a ****** unit during a pandemic. I also told him about me being on disability but yet and still I was never late on rent the whole time. He has no consideration for people just money and I hope karma comes abundantly to him. I actually had been approved for a home so I needed a extra 30 days and told him I would be willing to pay extra for the time so I didn't miss out on a house since they wanted me to move last minute. He said they couldn't do it. After 6 years really? I ended up missing out on the house I was approved for because he couldn't give me the little extra time. If you are ever in Vegas please please please do not do business with Jms properties!!! They are slum lords and will just take your deposit in the end!
