In October of 2022, we filed an insurance claim for water damage in our bathroom and closet. Our insurance company sent **** Davis Restoration to us to repair the damage. **** Davis Restoration asked us for a check to pay the deductible, which we gave them back in November. They came to our house and basically did a demolition of our bathroom and closet. That was four months ago, and they haven't been back to finish the job. We basically have been living with a giant hole in our house. They stripped everything **************** beams, and there is dust and rocks everywhere and they won't fix it!Then they told us that they returned our check/deductible back to us, but no one at the company can tell us why they returned the check. The check was good, and so was the address on the check. When I asked them why the check was returned, they just said, "I don't know." So then we gave them ANOTHER check, which they accepted, but still haven't come out to finish the job. Again, it's been FOUR MONTHS since they were hired, and did the demolition! They did schedule a worker to come out a few weeks ago. I canceled everything on my schedule so that I could let them in the house - and they were a NO SHOW. I never even got a phone call. It seems that this company is pulling a scam. I hope that's not the case, but at this point, nothing else makes sense.
