    Complaint Type:
    Product Issues
    Status:
    Answered
    1. First communication 11/17/2021 2.They insisted my case to be a older annulment 3. Initial attorney fee (Due upfront) was $1199 + $300 due to older marriage annulment. 4. Also will charge $330 for court cost (due just before filing my case at court) 5. Also said they will charge a $160 for a Process service fee (due after the Summons is issued, about 1-7 days after the case is filed at court) 6. They also will charge me extra $142 to seal the documents 7. The immediately charged me: $142.50 + $827 + $1199 + $42 = $2210.50. (They were not supposed to charge me this full amount from the beginning! (Refer back to number 4 & 5 above). 8. Never gave me a final total before they charged my card. I received a email with a receipt stating they charged my card for only two payments, the $827 + $142.50. I did not get a receipt for the other charges... 9. What they charged was only the first round of charges and they will still need to charge me another $712.50 after they received my signed documents. 10. I told them I am unable to continue using my card due to an over draft from their charge and would like to send in a money order for second payment because I had seen on their web page that it was a possibility to do so. They said they MUST have a credit card on file regardless, this is when I really started to question the company. 11. They used tricky wording such as: In the event process service is "MORE" than $160; this would occur if the address we have for Defendant isn't good and the process server has to go to a second address. I asked them what does "more" mean? To me that would mean they can charge and deduct whatever amount they wish out of my account! 12. Biggest issue is i told them i do not know my wife's address and they called me a lier and that I knew her address and just wanted to change companies. I changed companies due to their unprofessional service to me. 13. I'm asking for your help to get me full refund.
