I contracted with Diamond Express to move my car from **************** to *********, **. Apparently they subcontracted with another company, the identity of which is still unknown to me. They picked up my car on June 8, 2023. I had no contact at all with the driver or the subcontractor as to an expected delivery date. When I called the subcontractor I was told Saturday. Saturday came and I called for the delivery time and was told there had been an accident. My car was inside a trailer and locked up in a yard until the insurance adjuster could come on Monday. Its Tuesday now and still no news. No one was answering the phone at Diamond so I had to call the dispatcher. From him I got told the insurance company was going to be out on Thursday. He said I was supposed to have received an email but the email address was not mine. This was also the first time I learned theyd sent it with a subcontractor. Diamonds website says I was supposed to track the transport. I never got a link to do that. I have no idea where my car is, how badly damaged it is, or when I might get any information. I went with Diamond Express because they had a good track on BBB. I chose NOT to go with a cheaper company because they pretty much ALL had horrible reviews on BBB. Even to the point of taking payment up front and disappearing with the car. This is what seems to be happening to me right now. Although Diamond seems to want to do right, they didnt have a good response when I asked them how they screen the subcontractors. Now Im left without my car and no answers. Waiting indefinitely
