      My truck broke down east of ************* ** on ************* knew it was a transmission problem but did not have a reliable transmission mech near me. The tow company recommended B&M transmission in ****************. The tow company dropped it off April 12th 2022. ***** said she would have a parts list to me for approval by that Friday. I travel for work so Friday came and went without a call and I didnt think much of it. The initial rough quote was 3400$ worst case for a overhaul. (I understand its only a rough before I go further). That next Tuesday I call for an update and ***** says its 4700$ and they are waiting parts!!!!! Again I understand one that its a rough estimate but I never got a parts list or said go for the work being done.. I complain about the the difference in price and she works some figures to bring it down to 4400$. I said thats not the point I never saw or approved a parts list! I asked about a warranty and she said nation wide coverage. So about 2 weeks later I get my truck back. While in the shop I pay 4400$ for the work done. ***** has no paperwork or warranty paperwork for me. She says she will email it to me (bad on me but I just wanted to get the h*** out that shop. I drive the truck home and I notice its sluggish and shifting strangely. While driving through ************* ** its starts snowing so I go to put it in 4x4 and it does nothing.. strange it worked prior to going into the shop. The snow is so heavy I could not have continued. I pull over and the mech didnt hook up the vacuum lines correctly on the front diff! I fix it and head home. Over the next few days its shifting like c*** I bring it back roughly a week later. From this point on its ***** dodging my calls, always having an excuse or flat out being rude. It was almost 9 weeks total they had my *********** still dont have a receipt/warranty info ( her system is always s down). Save your money go somewhere else. Life is too short!

      We apologize for the mis-communication.We did relay a parts list to you when you approved the work to be done. As to the paperwork,we were out of warranty sheets at the time and had intended to give it to you when you came back for your two week recheck to start the nationwide warranty.As to the 4X4 not working,there is no reason for us to disconnect the vacuum lines at the front diff when pulling and re-installing the transmission so if it did happen we apologize.We don't dodge calls.We do get busy and miss calls.

      I took My car to the shop and told them that I think I need a new transmission. They then came back and told me that I needed a new slave, master, and a new clutch. They charged me for all of this work. After getting the car back initially it was not getting in gear. We took it back to them. they then told us they were going to get us another clutch. They said that the new clutch coming from the manufacture was bad, or so they told us. They got it back to me and the transmission was leaking. I then took it to another mechanic who found several things wrong with their repair. First thing they told me that I had an old clutch on my car. They never replaced the clutch. Then I was told that they likely never removed my transmission. I know they didn't remove my transmission because my car has not been getting into fifth gear for over a year and they did nothing to repair that. Had they pulled my transmission, then they would have known that my fifth gear was not operational. In summary they charged me for a clutch that they never put on my vehicle. They also charge me for pulling my transmission and examining it when it is clear from another mechanic that they never did that. PPlease do not go to these people. When I told them about their shotty work the front office person insists that they are a company with integrity. I'm now taking it to a second repair person who also confirms that I do not have a new clutch on my car.

      ************** brought her car to our shop with a complaint of hard shifting.Diagnosis showed the clutch to be bad.She approved the work,we ordered the parts and installed them.We don't build the parts(clutch) so a bad part is beyond our control.As to the leak,all we did was replace the clutch.If she felt we caused the leak she should have notified us and we would have addressed her concerns.What we did get from her was that four different shops told her we did not replace the clutch or other parts.I am not aware of a way to check a clutch externally without pulling the transmission.As to no fifth gear,we weren't told there was a problem ,and,being a transmission repair shop,we would have quoted a repair for the issue.

      I have taken my car to one full service repair shop and one oil change place. I actually had to take my car to the full-service repair shop twice. The second time they pull the transmission. The full service repair shop did pull the transmission and said that a new clutch was not put in my car. The oil change shop said that my clutch was smoking. At any rate I have to replace my clutch that is $1000 repair. Hopefully people who are reading this review will understand do not take your vehicle to the shop.
