The operator i spoke with was unable and unwilling to help with my request. I had an out of state homeowner who had a boiler pipe blow out in the last freeze. As their real estate agent, they asked me to assist with the repair. The operator, **** refused to make an appointment because I was not the homeowner. When I offered to connect the homeowner into the call, the operator then refused to book because the homeowner would not be present for the appointment. This is the most idiotic thing over ever heard. How does work get done for rentals or any other situation where the owner is potentially out of state. The operator just did a HUGE disservice because every agent along the front range is going to know how unreliable and idiotic this company is. Operator wouldnt give out his supervisors number, but Im guessing the supervisor (*******) will hear about it now unfortunately. Hopefully they get plenty of business that they dont need or appreciate referrals from real estate agents who provide a ton of business to good companies who understand situations where a homeowner might not be present but still authorize work.Smith Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical Response

Yes, you are correct. We don't do business with rental homes without the home owners permission and a pre-call credit card validation (because we never get paid if we don't) and we don't work with real estate agents, only directly with homeowners, because real estate agents want it done NOW and at the cheapest price. That's not our business model. The call taker should have told you he would reach out to me and give me your phone number and I would have handled the call with you. Oh, and another reason we don't work with real estate agents is because of the review you just left... you don't get your way, you trash the company. You could have just called another company, but no, you have to take your pound of flesh, by posting a bad review, because we wouldn't bow down to your demands. I'm a home owner and so are my 100 employees, so I'll make sure to post your web page and picture(s) in our office, along with your review, to make sure none of my employees or their families do business with you or ******** at 4S ****************** There was no reason for this review. Just call another company if you don't get the service you want, you don't have to trash the company.Review from Bryan J

My name is *********************, My wife scheduled an appointment, through the app, for today December 8, 2023, she called this morning to confirm what time they would be here, she spoke to ***** and she told my wife we were not on the schedule for today! Now this is not the first time this has happened to us, when we first scheduled with them to take care of our HVAC we went into the office and scheduled with one of the Ladies there behind the counter, to our surprise we were waiting & waiting we finally called and we found out we werent on the schedule, now how that can happen when we were there in the office and scheduled the appointment is BEYOND ME!!!! From that very first time it has happened 3 other times with today being the third time. Im very seriously thinking of finding a new company. I am going to go down to the office to find out WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!!! This business is very poor!!!!!Smith Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical Response

*****, my sincere apology. I thought I had responded to your review weeks ago, but when I checked today the response was not posted. What happened is you scheduled the call through a (very) new application we use with our monitoring equipment. We didn't have someone assigned to review those requests consistently through the app and yours wasn't seen. That has been corrected and won't happen again. I called Smith plumbing they came out the day of not even 2 hours after I set the appt and ****** was absolutely awesome, Was very polite took care of my leaking kitchen sink in a very timely manner I couldnt of ask for much more. I definitely recommend Smith for your plumbing needs and ask for ****** hes very knowledgeable and will take care of it. Very happy with SmithSmith Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical Response

*****, we apologize. The new system monitoring device you have in your furnace and AC provides you with a way to schedule service from the app on your phone, however we missed your request as we didn't monitor the app on our side as frequently as we should have. That has been corrected. My office manager told me he met with you today and we provide you with a free maintenance and a $100 credit on your account for the inconvenience. I sincerely hope this gesture shows you how much we value our customers and how sorry we are for causing you this inconvenience. The installation of our new heating and air conditioning systems was done considerately, cleanly, carefully with concern for us, our home and our dog as well. Ona Monday in April 2023, we had our water heater replaced in our rental unit.By Wednesday afternoon (2-days POST install) I received a phone call from the tenants that there was severe damage to the garage and ceiling.The garage ceiling was collapsing and the interior bedroom was also caving from water saturation in the attic. Years ago there used to be a swamp cooler on the property but we had it disconnected and removed it. However, there was a copper pipe that ran from the old water heater to the swamp cooler. It had been disconnected and just kind of hanging out in the back of the garage, near the water heater for years.The person who inspected it the week before to see if it could be repaired, had documented that this pipe needed to be reconnected (this was never discussed with me over the phone). And the install team that put the new water heater in on Monday didnt question the instructions provided and connected it, having no idea where it led. The pipe led to nowhere, it was spraying water all over the attic-space Once Smith understood what they had done wrong, they called their supervisor Then ******* arrived, he is the supervisor and was really great. ******* was very reassuring and calmed everyone down and explained that they would fix it.And that is exactly what they did. E-V-E-R-Y single point of water damage was repaired. I have to give so much thanks to *******, he was always quick to respond anytime I had questions or requested an update (it took about 2.5 weeks to get everything back to before the water damage) and he was so kind. I gave 5-stars because of how ******* handled this situation. I cant say for sure if I will call Smith for future work but I do have to say ******* has left me feeling like a valuable customer. I hope ********************** understands how important it is to have a person like ******* on the team. He de-escalated a stressful situation and made sure everything was 100% back to normal as fast as he possibly could.Smith Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical Response

Thank you for your honest review ******. As I tell customers all the time, the character of a company comes out when "bad" happens. Anyone can appear like they are committed to their customer's complete satisfaction, but the true test to that commitment comes when "trouble happens". As a business owner in the plumbing services for many years, I know things don't always go smoothly, and when dealing with water and water damage, it can get bad really fast. Again, we have a tremendous staff of people, ****** is but one of many, who are committed to our customers satisfaction and when there's an issue, making it right. Thank you again ****** for the 5 star review and shout out to ******. I hope we can earn your business again in the future, but if we don't, I completely understand. *********************** is the ***** Excellent service provider. Follows up as promised and ensures the satisfaction of the customer. If looking for a particular service provider, I do highly recommend requesting **** if Smith Is your choice. I had an installed electronic thermostat go bad and **** came through.
