I have gone back and forth for a few days on whether to let this go and chalk it up to a bad experience or give a bad recommendation so as to warn others of our EXTREMELY bad experience, but what just happened today made my mind up for me. While there were issues leading up to just getting the work completed, what was most frustrating was the items broken or that simply just disappeared over the course of the 3 days they did work in our home. 1) 3 outlet covers had to be replaced, either because we found them replaced on the wall but broken in half, or because we just couldn’t find the outlet cover at all to put back on…which they were supposed to do anyway. 2) Somehow paint made it all over one of my Carhart jackets, sleeve and all over back, and thrown into a corner like a rag for us to find later. Ruined in its entirety. 3) Many areas were left unfinished or not even touched up, indicated by the pieces of blue tape they left next to every one of the areas left untouched. I appreciate them making it easier to identify them so we can fix them ourselves! 4) While we were finishing cleaning the last night we noticed a towel rack in the downstairs bathroom was gone, nowhere to be found. However, they left the tape on the wall to remind them to touch up around the brackets, which they never did. 4) Finally, they broke a light fixture in a hall bathroom, assuring they will replace it before the day of pictures for listing. This never happened. On the morning of the pictures, I drove to house waiting for owner to arrive with fixtures, as he assured he would. I finally texted him to ask status and he replied that he didn’t locate them and he will have to look later in the day after he’s done with his work, knowing pictures were at 11am. When I became upset I was called unreasonable, ungrateful for all he did for us (mind you he was paid to do those things) and to never contact him again (no problem there!) He took no responsibility for the damage done, instead deflected back to us. I had to go hunt down and actually pay for a whole new fixture for the bathroom the morning of pictures, due to the one they broke being discontinued and being unable to locate a globe that fit in any other design. Today, the catalyst that determined this recommendation…as he drove past me in his work van, going down our street, he stuck his hand out the window and flipped me off as I went by. This is not a company to do business with. Please heed this warning and learn from our experience. This is NOT a professional company with any integrity whatsoever. I thought his behavior was finished with the continued text messages that day of pictures, when he advised he wouldn’t be replacing the fixture they broke, until I drove past him today. It is an unstable person, in my opinion, to act in such a way while representing his own business.

Contracted for work over month in advance. Owner advised it would take 3 days, which it did, but all work was not completed and we had to replace multiple items that were broken and/or destroyed by workers, resulting in much more out of pocket. Workers broke glass globe to bathroom fixture, didn’t replace. Workers got paint all over expensive jacket and then threw in corner to hide, wouldn’t take responsibility or replace. Missing towel rack from one basement bathroom, never found and we had to replace and finish touch ups in that bathroom ourselves. Workers either put broken outlet covers back on wall or didn’t replace at all, 3 total. We had to go purchase and replace. All extra work that we had to do to fix what they either did destructively or just didn’t do had to be done night before house went to showing. When we went to owner and brought these things to his attention he went on a rant about all the “things he did as a favor” and further calling us ungrateful and rude and demanding we never come near him again, but never took responsibility for anything. Extremely bad to do business with and you will have to pay much more out of pocket in the end to fix or replace what you essentially are paying them to destroy.
