I have been calling ***************** a thousand time with regards my paid booking, and they seemed not to care, never answer me. Is it intentionally Avoya travel customer services are doing. Right now. my complain is not returning my call. I will later have more complaint to file as my booking is nearer todate.Customer Response

I'm really shocked at the poor reviews of Avoya Travel. I was in travel for many years as an agent, agency manager, and tour ****** so I have a lot of travel experience as a retail agent and a traveller. 4 years ago my mom decided to take my sister, a breast cancer survivor, on a 12 day Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity and she booked the trip with **** at Avoya Travel. At the last minute (1 week before departure) she asked me to go and Avoya worked quickly to get me a cabin and everything went off without a hitch. We had them arrange travel insurance (I always get travel insurance, although luckily have not had to use it) and that was good thing because my mom got a respiratory infection and had breathing treatments on the ship. Again, the insurance reimbursed my mom without any issues. The reason I noticed the bad reviews is because I was just going to call Avoya and have them book a Carribbean for this Fall and an ****** cruise for July ****. I'm sorry some people have had a bad experience with Avoya, but that has not been the case with us and we intend to use them again. Safe travels everyone!Review from Terry F

Travel agent removed my Travel insurance without my knowledge!!! There was a problem with **********, not our fault. We tried catch up to cruise (started in **** to ******** 15 day cruise) being flown from ******* to ******** to *******. After 3 days of this, we gave up cause we missed ****, *************** We were flown home from *******. found out travel agent ********************* removed our travel insurance and never told us, nor did she send any type of invoice showing this after I asked if everything was paid for!! She said YES. She knows she made this mistake and will not give us a credit (not asking for refund only credit) toward future use.Review from Maxx G

Do not ever use this company. ***********************, who booked my cruise was incompetent and did not even cancel my cruise when I asked him too. AND he admitted he was to busy and wasnt able to get to it! For ****'s sake. You can report a travel agent to American Society of Travel Agents and they will investigate for you. We booked a cruise on Holland America and we’re quoted a rate which was to include Wi-Fi 2 Specialty dinners ,drinks, and. Sightseeing excursion. Well upon arrival on board we tried to sign on to Internet but had no success. Went for a drink and we were told we had no beverage package. This was a 12 night cruise. I went to Guest Service to straighten things out and was told that no package was booked for us. They tried to reach the agent but were unable to get him. We ended up paying for all drinks and specialty dinners. We did not have Internet or any sightseeing. I tried to connect with the company’s so called Customer Service but they seemed to ignore my many messages. I gave up . I hope this serve as a warning if you use Avoya Travel or any of their independent agents. Be leary of their quotes.Review from Guen R

As an Independent Agent of *****, I'd like to say that I have had minimal assistance that meant anything from *****. The IA support is lacking in humanity and customer service. They refuse to take responsibility for anything and will blame everyone but themselves. If you do join them, be prepared for short responses, and dwindling leads even thought they tell you there will always be leads. If you chose to leave then they threaten you with a new set of fees. It's like being held against your will by pirates.Review from Veronica L

We booked a cruise trip through Avoya Travel agent *****************************. She offered us free gratuities, free specialty dining, free drink plans and free WiFi. I never asked for this is was part of deal for a Royal Caribbean cruise. She said the deals would show up the day before or day of. Cruise day came nothing showed we boarded and went to guest services to figure it all out. They said nothing was applied the only credits showing were the ones from Royal Caribbean. I emailed her several times. Finally she responded with nothing useful making it look like it was them not her. By the next day 2 showed up although not entered correctly like specialty dinning so they always tried to charge us it was very embarrassing each time explaining. Royal Caribbean finally gave us the cups do we can get our drinks probably because they felt bad after we submitted all communication showing what we were ***********. I finally get a hold of her and she tells the guest information girl that we were supposed to use our credit money from Royal Caribbean and put it towards our free WiFi (not cool) bottom line ***************************** lied and got away with it as Royal Caribbean attempted to contact them for several days to fix this and they would not answer the phone. I will never trust a travel agency again. My boys first cruise was ruined by us having to continuously go to information guest services with no answers.Review from Carri K

I've read all of the reviews here and feel that the consumer complaints below are not justified. Avoya Travel Network is not a travel agency. It is a host agency that provides services to independently owned travel agencies. Avoya Travel does not sell travel to consumers. Any consumer complaints listed should be directed at the independently owned travel agency of record. I have affiliated my independent travel agency with Avoya since 2017 and have found them to operate with integrity and professionalism at all times.Review from Angela D

They cheated my daughter out of her commission and keep rejecting her emails requesting information about her commissions they owe her
