I parked my car in a paid parking space near Bella Cuba on December 28, 2023. I paid for 2 hours and the receipt in the window as instructed. After dinner, we go to my car around 9:45pm to find my car gone. I called the tow company listed, and they did not have my car. As I was hanging up, two tow trucks simultaneously barreled into the parking area, and what appeared to be indiscriminately tow two random cars out of the parking lot. The tow company was different than listed on the sign. After calling Tremont who confirmed to have the vehicle, they refused to answer any questions about when the vehicle was towed, or who I could talk to in order to see the footage. The attendant admitted the South Beach towing business is involved in illegal activity. I have issue the wrong tow company is listed, which could cause police reports filed by mistake. Additionally, I have had my calls go unanswered by about the video footage with time stamps showing when my car was towed. I believe the company is running a scam that cannot be proven because no one can see the video of when these vehicles are getting towed.
