    My partner had been receiving physical therapy for several months beginning last October after having hip replacement surgery. Each session was covered by insurance except for a $20 co-pay per visit. Payment was required at the time of service and I used my credit card to pay at the front window every time she had therapy. Several months ago, she commented to me that she had received some emails from advanced motion saying that she owed money. I advised her to ignore them since it was probably a scam as like many others. A short time later I received a statement from advanced motion, showing eight services unpaid with a balance due of $160. I called that weekend and left a message telling them I was very annoyed and I would expect a call back on Monday with an apology. They never returned my call and several days later I called back during the week and spoke to several people, including an accounting person, named ******, and then the owner named *** . After reviewing my bills, they did agree that the eight services and $160 had been paid however they told me they had found another service from January 29 that was still open. I disputed this and explained how I paid every time and there should be nothing open. After an hour of arguments and disagreements, *** insisted the only way it could be solved would be for me to send them a copy of my receipt. She provided an email address, and I finally sent a copy to them. And then followed up with another email asking that they please acknowledge receipt of my email so I know it had gotten to them. I also wrote an email to the email address provided on the monthly statement requesting a response. I heard nothing from anyone.Another few days went by and we received another email telling me that the March 20 service was unpaid. I printed out the email and it showed many of the services I had questioned were all marked paid but this one was still open.This company my be double billing other clients.
