Groza is building 2 homes next to mine. Since then I have called more than a dozen times to clean up the jobsites from litter and the drainage has been backed up due to their lack of maintaining it. It seems the building supervisors never come to the sites. I have had 2 stop work orders applied by the city to correct the issues.. and I will be initiating a 3rd one.Their roofers literally shot 3 inch ring shank nails all over my roof, my yard and one even rusted in my pool.. I was able to remove 4 of them before the damage. Didn't see the 5th one. My dog had found one and chewed on it too from my yard. Not too mention contractors driving through my yard, and traversing through my yard because the street was flooded.I literally have a front yard that will not drain, A posted reply from the owner states that "Unfortunately, progress comes with some pain." I guess I should tolerate the shooting 3 inch nails at my home and pool. I should tolerate the different trades driving through my yard. I should tolerate that they are taking months upon months to complete a home while not caring how their trades are actually managing their worksites. The company states that they have been responsive to all of my calls. It took 2 weeks and a stop work order from the city for them to even care about the blocked drainage issues. The houses were months along before they even put up silt fence to control erosion and keep the debris of the jobsite contained. But their public response is that this is all normal and should be acceptable.

      Good Afternoon *****,

We understand it can be frustrating to neighbors when we build new homes in their neighborhood. Unfortunately, progress comes with some pain. I am confident that once the homes are completed, you will have a different perspective on our quality of work.

We have gotten all of your calls and have responded to all of them. We take all calls and concerns very seriously.  We have sent our Construction Manager to your home immediately and assisted in checking for nails in your yard and on your roof when we learned the ********* had a equipment malfunction. We installed silt fencing on 3 sides of our property (It is not required in ********) to help with controlling erosion at your request.

As to my understanding, the lot has only flooded on November 17th when there was localized flooding all over ********. Additionally, the yards have not been final graded, which can be seen by the fact there is no sod. Rest assured, we will have  them graded to city requirements and the water will flow as we are instructed to make it do so.

We have seen your picture of a tire track in the swale in front of your home. If there is damage in that area, we will indeed repair it when we are in the process of installing the sod on our property.

We are nearly completed with the homes so the nuisance should be gone before long and you will be able to enjoy your new neighbors! If we can assist you any further please let us know.

      Happy New Year!
