The technician (*****) pulled a fast one and did not inform me that by signing the service call paperwork for parts/install, I was agreeing to a 5-year contract. I happened to call to cancel service last month since we are replacing all windows and doors, and spoke with ******* who informed me of a contract I had signed. I have since seen others complaining of this same contract omission issue.
Upon sending email written notice of my wish to cancel servcies, I've since received a bill for the balance owed of $1,143.00 (for future service left on the contract). Omitting key details to "make a sale" is NOT a way to do business. In light of this, I should have been griping to them about the fact that my equipment is so antiquated now and worked properly 50% of the time.. I would NEVER recommend them after this experience, and I am sure they are swindling lots of unknowing folks in the same manner.
