      Brought truck in Oct 5th for torque converter and its still sitting there today. They cannot get the part because of the strike. They wont give the car back unless I pay them around $2,000 to put it back together (unfixed). I never asked then to take it apart. *** tried everything to work with service manager *********************** but they say there hands are tied. He has not ************* my call. I have to drive to dealership to have any contact. Ive been renting an equivalent vehicle for $100 a day so thats approx $2,500 with no part in sight. Highly unethical company. Its a disgrace to the ********************************** family name. Very disappointing. Stay far away..

      I leased a 2019 Chevy Colorado from Schumacher on Northlake Blvd. in 2019. My lease came up in April 2022 and I reviewed the lease and decided that I would buy the vehicle pursuant to the terms of the lease. Being a retired lawyer, I knew the lease contained the entire agreement between the parties to the lease. The language of the lease specifically says that the written terms of the lease are the total terms of the agreement between the parties and the lease can not be altered except in writing and agreed to by both parties. I made an appointment with them to buy the vehicle and the paperwork is drawn up and presented to me. The leasing agent tells me that I have to pay an additional fee of $499.00 for an inspection because they need to protect themselves from any liability from any defects in the vehicle. I tell them no they can not charge an inspection fee because it isn't provided for in the lease. I also told them that the truck was out of warranty and was being sold "AS IS with no Warranty" so they had no liability exposure. After threatening them with litigation, they finally agreed to withdraw their claim for the $499.00 inspection fee. It was a total scam that they had no legal right to claim! Watch out for these scams from Schumacher. One can only imagine how many people have fallen for this and how much money Schumacher has made of these wrongful acts.

      MY car was left at the Buick, Northlake location in July/August for transmission. they kept my vehicle for weeks with a repair bill of $1027. Mind you, I had t pay for a rental for weeks. I picked up my car the first time on a Friday and had to immediately return my car because transmission still was doing exactly the same thing they were supposed to have repaired. I get a call from the advisor stating an additional $500 was due for the EXACT SAME THING THEY WERE SUPOSE TO HAVE FIXED FOR $. 1,027.(crooks). I picked up my car in Sept. 2020. A month or so the advisor and the SERVICE MANAGER called on numerous occasions asking me to bring my car back because they needed the serial number off of the BRAND NEW TRANSMISSION, what a ****, I do not have BRAND NEW TRANSMISSION. The receipt clearly say REMANUFACTURED TRANSAXLE. I have 2 receipts with different work done, because they didnt fix it right the first time. They got it wrong and demanded I pay an additional $500 for their mistake. I told the advisor it wasn't fair, he said oh the transmission costed $8000, what a lie and ****. then the SERVICE MANGER called to back up the $500 fee knowing fully well, it was wrong. it was there mistake, they didnt fix it the first time. So, they called and called asking for me to bring my car back for the transmission serial number, I finally took it back on December 29, 2021 and they had my car for a few hours and not even 5 days later (January 4, 2022), my transmission is broke again doing the exact same thing it did on the very 1st day I took it to SCHUMACHER BUICK< Northlake Blvd. LAKE PARK, Fla. My car is currently broke again. I don't know what they did but this is the 3rd time I have taken my car to them and the transmission is still broke. I will never, ever, take my car there again. I want a refund. its shameful, a brand/business of that size and nature, double charging people and not diagnosing their vehicles correctly or fixing them correctly. 3times an my car is currently broken. SHAMEFUL

      The transmission we installed is shipped directly to us from General Motors and it has a manufacture warranty, is the customer does not feel comfortable returning to Schumacher any General Motors dealership can assist.

      I will never take my car for repairs at ANY Buick dealership. Starting from July 2021 - Dec 2021 they serviced my car three times, keeping it for weeks on more than one occasion. Re-charging for a repair already paid for at the 1st visit. Shameful. Never, Ever Again.

      Let me tell you a story about Schumacher, I have purchased several vehicles from them over the years. Their service depart 100% lied and tried to cheat me! The service manager there is a complete crook. I took my 75k truck in for a noise in the front end. They told me, "drop it off, we will get you a rental" I did that. Three days later I called them for an update, they said "There has to be something INTERNAL with the differential, we will have to take it apart". Three more days later I called them and they said GM was not covering this warranty for neglect. I asked how is this neglect? They explained it was due to the differential mounts being broken. This is something they would have been able to see in a standard visual inspection! They LIED, I spoke with GM and the extended warranty company they recommended I purchase and I did. Both GM and Ally said "We may be able to get this overturned but we need information from Schumacher", they simply never replied and allowed it to go on for days. Finally they called me and said "Since this is not under warranty we aren't paying for the rental after today". I of course returned the rental and drove my truck out of there and took it to another dealer. Here we are 90 days later, they have not paid for the rental, they ordered, they told me when and where to pick up and when to return, they lied to GM, they failed to respond, and now they are saying it's on me to resolve. This dealership has lost its way, their service department has fallen to the level of a common criminal. What they have done, and continue to do to me is nothing short of criminal.

      The customer was notified after three days saying that the mounts were broken, and that General Motors would not cover the repair not Schumacher, we explained to the customer that the rental would not be covered after that day, the customer contacted General Motors and General Motors contacted us, we explained that he mounts were broken and if they wanted to cover the repair all they had to do was give me authorization. They did not authorize the repair so i could not go forward, as far as the rental i said i would cover the expense up until when we notified the customer, he elected to stay in the rental. I am still willing to assist but his story is not completely true.

      This is very inaccurate, I eventually spoke to someone from their headquarters and they eventually covered the rental. I don't care to argue with liars any longer.
