My husband and I felt like we were defrauded at this dealership. We were urgently rushed in thinking we were grounding our lease. They made us believe we would lose our vehicle if we didn't go in right then and there. Our sales person ******* told us we could not get another lease and our only option was to finance a pre-owned car because of our credit. Explicitly told us we could not finance our current lease. We gave them the keys to the lease with intent to ground it. When we walked away because we couldn't afford their options and were going to uber home, they did not give the keys back or inform they wouldn't be grounding the lease. they coerced and intimidated us until we came back in and signed for the purchase of the pre owned. they then proceeded to give us the keys from the lease back and said gm financial would have to pick it up at our home and it looked bad and was illegal for them to keep it there. ** Financial said this was absolutely not the case, that we have to bring it to a dealership to ground it. We want to unwind the deal we made with the purchase of the preowned, but they wont budge. and they're saying it's our fault , that we weren't up to date with payments on our lease and that's why they couldn't ground it. complete ********. i've never missed a payment and paid 2 extra months after before bringing it to the dealership.GM financial has phone records of all our calls and i have texts from ******* at the dealership of most of the interactions. This was fraud and illegal. I called 2 other dealerships and that's what they told me as well.
