    See full complaint attached ....Financed 2016 Range Rover on 2/15/22021 with $500 down via Carmax Auto Finance. I was told the the vehicle was "Quality Certified" pre-owned and had undergone a 125 point inspection. The same night that I picked up the vehicle I noticed that there was something wrong with the windshield wipers right as I was driving through a very bad thunderstorm. Visibility was minimal because the wipers were not working so I had to pull over. I called ************** center and was told that they were closed and I would have to come back in the next day but I could replace the wipers on my own and request reimbursement so I did just that. Vehicle was serviced on 2/20/2021 at carmax and I was told that everything is fine and that they just need to update some software. A few days later a dashboard notification came on for faulty suspension. I was starting to get concerned that I was sold a lemon so I took the vehicle to a third party mechanic for an inspection and was told to my surprise that the vehicle needed about $6,000 worth of repairs (brakes, rotars, suspension, wiper, oil change, oil pan debris, etc). Carmax then rescheduled me for service on 3/22/2021 and carmax assumed responsibility of the bill. The issue still continued for months afterwards and multiple service visits were scheduled throughout the next year. On 2/16/2021, exactly one year after purchasing the vehicle, the engine failed and was towed to a nearby Land rover dealership for service. After 4 months of back and forth with Assurant and *********** the extended warranty claim was finally approved. All this time I had to pay for a rental vehicle which was not covered by the policy. I took possession of the vehicle on 5/16/2021 and was told that everything was fixed but after only a few minutes of driving it was very clear that there was still a problem.     I purchased a 2023 full size Range Rover in May 2022. I am based in ***** so the car was shipped to me. The car was damaged in the process and immediately it was no longer Land Rover North Dade's issue according to German my sales rep. I was forced to claim the damages to insurance. Separately, upon receipt of my car I noticed that when I drove above 35 mph the car made a very loud flapping noise and it felt like the undercarriage was shaking. German the sale rep who sold me my car said it was the paper license plate, however, upon inspection by the dealership in my town the car was missing multiple parts that protect the engine known as a "Splash Guard". I have been waiting on this part now for 9 months. Yes 9 months...and I currently have no ETA on when one will be available.I have been working with ***** who has been trying to help, but only because I escalated the issue to Land Rover North America directly. He has also laid the blame on other dealerships who have seen the car even though I mentioned this issue immediately upon receiving it, and the only reason that it was damaged in the first place was because of the third party transportation company they used. Extremely disappointing experience that I have a brand new car that I can't drive above 35 mph for almost a year with a dealership that has taken no responsibility aside from paying for the parts that should have been on the car in the first place. The solution is pretty simple they should remove the parts from another vehicle so that the one they already sold can function but they have refused and therefor I am left with a car that doesn't function properly. I would recommend using a dealership that aims to build long term relationships with their customers by doing the right thing unfortunately that is not Land Rover North Dade.
