Dennis Dillon was underhanded. They tried to get me to pay for the flashy brake light that is going to "save my life". After much, much, much, (i am saving you the personal agony) back and forth with pricing and such, i finally said I would pay X** amount out the door. Final; they finally agreed, but.....then you still get the finance guy. Tries to tell anecdotal stories while i'm signing, and were becoming best friends, (sarcasm). Adds in roadside assistance. I stopped and said no. no. I ended up still getting the *** insurance, because he told me, it was the only way they could get me that price. I relented. He said "just keep it for 6 months and then cancel it. I said, "what if I don't?" He says "we will probably call you to see if you totaled your vehicle or what".I went to my creditor two weeks later, and complained about their shady practices while making a payment. The girl in the office had me come in and gave me paperwork to fill out to get rid of the *** insurance. Turns out, i only had one month to cancel it. Very nice compassionate girl. I did have the check go towards my loan six weeks later. Not all dealers are like this, but any affiliation with a Dennis Dillon company, and you will be dealing with unethical cheats. But on the plus side, they haven'y come to break my kneecaps yet for cancelling the *** insurance.Review from David B

Again as others have noted. Listed price does not include hidden add-ons. They add a Brake and Anti-theft package for an Additional $2500 and don't tell you until after you get to financing. This is called a value added package and is considered illegal in many states. Also don't let them tell you they have issues with funding less than 10k so they add on the "service package. **** in Sales is famous for this. Check to see if he ad listing has these features for that price. File a complaint with the ** of ***** and the ****** of **** dealerships for these shady practices.Review from Wes C

BUYER BEWARE!! This dealer is full of sleazy tricks. Stay away! In my case, they listed and quoted me a good price, but when they wrote up the contracts the price was nearly $1,700 higher a classic bait-and-switch. When I questioned them, they said the increase was for some safety and security features they added on without my consent. In fact, I had specifically told them I didnt want the add-ons (the features were a blinking brake light and some ID sticker on the door frames). They said they add these features to all of their vehicles. This is a highly unethical and possibly illegal trick. If a vehicle has added options, the price of those options should be included in the price just like automatic transmission, power windows, etc. When I protested, they brought out a manager to high-pressure me into taking the add-ons. It was quite insulting. After a lot of arguing over two days I finally got them to remove the add-ons and reduce the price to what they originally quoted. But that wasnt the end. When I went into the *** to get the plates, I had to pay an additional $100 in sales tax taxes I had already paid to Dillon. The tax they listed on the contract was correct, but the check they sent to the State was $100 less than what they themselves had listed on the contract and agreed to send to the State. So I paid that $100 in taxes twice. I will never go near this dealership again, and feel an obligation to warn others to stay away as well.Review from Jon H

If I could give them zero start I would, we bought a truck and boy did they see ** coming. THen less that a year after we want them to buy it back and the offer was almost 20k less. This might not be unusual for a new truck but it was used when we bought it. So thats when the runaround started. Now about a month ago we went in to cancel the extended warranty to the $$ back after we sold the truck and nothing, crickets. My wife went in today and they tell her that the warranty and service contract refund will be **** weeks. This company is not n the buisness of caring at all about customers, they will ignore, lie. In my experience. I cannot say strong enough, DO NOT do ANY buisness with ANY dennis dillon dealership.Review from Eric P

At the start, the experience was good. The salesman was knowledgeable and pleasant. We chose the truck we liked of the ones available and paid **** deposit. The price book was **** lower than the exact same model and build and we chose the lower priced option (more on this later). Its not my fault that you had the same trucks marked with two different prices. We were also told that if we had a competing trade in offer that it would be matched. We were told this 4-5 times throughout the process by the salesman even on the day I took delivery. We had a competing offer from a local dealership that was close to $71k with the tax credit. Based on the salesmans promise and our valid, competing offer we moved forward with the whole thing because we knew we would not be carrying any negative equity into the deal. We also decided to put ****k accessories on the truck because we werent going to have any negative equity roll into the new truck. Everything was fine and dandy until last Thursday (delivery date). I scheduled an appointment at 9am, arrived at 8:45. I didnt even start looking at numbers until after 11am. Again, I was told the morning of that you would match offers. Again, I had an offer of @71k. First offer for trade in was 60k. Went back and forth about promises made and how they needed to be followed through with even if Dennis Dillon had to lose money. I was told that all you would list my truck for and could get was @69k and so you couldnt match my offer. Lo and behold, this morning I see my truck for sale at Dennis Dillon for 75k. Another, complete and utter lie we were told. I got them up to 63 with sales tax credit, but was then told the total price for my truck, $83775, would go up by **** if I went to a 84 month term on my loan. I have never heard of this before and dont believe it for a second. I believe this was a way for you to recoup the **** price book difference that I mentioned prior. I want to see the details behind the priReview from RAY P

Basically I hate surprises My shopping experience at Dennis Dilon *** had multiple unpleasant surprises...1. Ordered truck. Signed build for $68,535. Same price as two other dealers I researched. Thought it was an out the door price except for normal doc fees and title and taxes. Mentioned to my *************************** that I planned on using the *** 0% financing offer. Then ****** informed me of the Dillon financing option and that it would cost me $2K more if not used that was surprise 1 2. Sent in cash offer form on the Dillon website. Offer came back at a little over $45K. Sent detailed pics and specs of truck to sales team and theyu called back with an offer of $41. I was flabbergasted... After arguing back and forth Dillon did relent to honoring the web form offer. Surprise 2 3. At closing, I still chose the gmc 0% financing offer and expected the $2K "surcharge". The sales team now insisted it was $3K more. Surprise 3 4. I chose their financing option to save the $3K and then the final write up included an additional $1,700 of previously undeclosed dealer charges. Surprise 4...Skyler at Dillon made the financing option better with a decent finance rate and short term conditions to pay back if I wish. Still think Dillon may be standing on thin ice on the trade in sales tax issue and WA sales tax guidelines with restricting down payment to 20% and giving the difference back to the customer in the form of an "equity" check. But I am depending they know best on that issueI am happy with the truck and the fact the truck came in 4 months waiting, but would NOT buy from this dealer again Poor communication and changing conditions during the sales experience... I would just choose another dealer and wait for the truck longer...Review from Karen L.

NEVER AGAIN!! I purchased a vehicle 5 weeks ago oh, and have had issues since one week after I bought it. Pouring coolant out of it, nobody would call me back they have no loaner Vehicles nor would they come get the vehicle. I'm a single mom with an infant and paid $30,000 cash for the vehicle. It is seriously impossible to get a hold of anybody that's in charge. The only people that you can get ahold of are the minions working at the locations, at the bottom of the totem pole. I cant get any managers to call me back and cant even find phone numbers for the people that are actually in charge. You cannot contact corporate or anybody that can do something about the problem. All i keep hearing is "im sorry ma'am that *****. Unfortunately i cant do anything but let me give your info to someone that can." Then nothing, its complete BS. Typical salesman. Typical dealership. Should've stayed with ************** where they seem to actually care. Planning on returning the vehicle and getting my money back or contacting an attorney if need be. It's sad that I would have been better off with the vehicle I traded in, which was complete junk.
