Had my furniture moved a few weeks ago and they did some damage to my brand new house. Manager wanted to just write a check before I got an estimate on what it would cost. Long story short after I sent him the bid he now won't respond to my emails. Be careful who you hire to move your furniture.Review from Charlene A.

Horrible experience from day 1! Contract for 3 men to move us on Sept 29 two guys showed up but because it was raining they said they werent comfortable about moving ournice furniture. We were told 4+ would move us the next day. On the 30th only two young men showed up without enough blankets or plastic! Every single piece of furniture was marked or scratched in someway! The very worse was our newer bedroom set (heavily scratched and damaged). I only filed a claim on the bedroom set and a mini refer that had the door broken off. We have been completely ignored after several emails and a letter. I decided on the B.B.B before going any further. I would not recommend this company to anyone ever!Review from Kelli M

WORST ever. Our move took 148 days (yes, 21 weeks), 13 failed delivery attempts, no response to a damage claim, and an UNAUTHORIZED charge. Theres no, ***** none communication so we are left with a miserable experience and never recommend to anyone.Review from Taylor M

FragilePak out sourced their work to Speedy to deliver my bed frame. My package was supposed to come August 2nd so I took the day off work to receive the package. ***** or someone called and said they couldnt make it cause they were sick. They never called to reschedule for over two weeks. I would avoid them at all cost. I called multiple times and left messages. No one called me back and I had to cancel my order.Review from Summer O

Hired them in April 2021. Months later I realized that My husband and I were missing several items. I called them several times and left several voicemails with no return call. I finally talk to a girl named ****** and she said someone returned my call which never happened. The fifth time that I talked to ****** she emailed me a claim form. My husband and I filled it out ASAP and fax it back to them. A manager ******************* emailed saying that it was past the timeframe. The timeframe was not passed when I tried calling the very first time and talked to ******. They chose to ignore my calls so that they were not have to pay for their mistakes. We were then appointed to talk to ***** and were given his cell phone number. Again the manager would not return calls and we left several messages. We had also called back the store and asked to talk to the owner or another manager several times. Every single time they would say that the manager or anybody it was not available or wasnt there which I find hard to be true. This company is very unprofessional and does not hold their mistakes accountable. They lost or stole some very sentimental and pricey items of ours! Very hurtfulReview from Sandra H

UPDATE from my review on 1/10/2022 After I wrote a letter expressing concern about my negative experience - that resulted in me giving this business 1-Star, I received a call from a manager- *****. ***** worked hard to make the situation right with us and resolve my concern. As a result of his company's willingness to resolve a consumers concern, my concern, I am now willing to endorse their moving services. Their work was careful and thorough and they provided same day service; I was just concerned about time and cost of that time. I appreciate a business who works to insure their company makes their consumers happy. I appreciate ***** and his efforts to resolve my concerns.Speedy Movers Response

Did not honor their bid and the move was double what they quoted; tried to reach them by phone when they automatically charged my card to no avail, written request was ignored. The move was for a 1 BD senior apt 500 sq foot unit, quoted at 2 hrs, took almost 7 with a 3 person "team". Proceed with caution and watch to avoid inflated time.Speedy Movers Response

We have had a horrible experience with this company. They did not deliver our household items on time, dropped the trailer off at a local storage and left it UNLOCKED for two days without telling us, have had very little communication with us unless we contact them, then they make excuses after we leave several messages, only part of our items showed up and the others were still at their storage, they hired movers who dropped our refrigerator off the truck (and it was new), dropped our safe off the truck, made excuses everytime we called why they didn't get back to us and then when filing the claim, had to call over and over and over to even get a claim # or contact for the insurance company. I would never use this company again and would recommend going elsewhere.Speedy Movers Response

I'm so sorry to see the poor review. I understand that your move did not go according to plan, which we discussed at length. As you know, when moving out-of-town, the arrival dates that are provided are estimates. This is especially the case when 3rd party carriers are involved, as yours had and was disclosed to you. Unfortunately there was some miscommunication on the delivery, getting movers out there to unload the trailer at the storage, and the extra stuff that did not fit in the original trailer, but as a staff we have discussed these issues and set things ** in place that this does not happen again. As far as the damaged items, I do know you have submitted claim forms and some have been taken care of and already paid out to you. We do appreciate the feedback so we can better our services in the future.
