Thank you for your great service. Specifically, I had ****** come to fix my water tank issues. He checked everything very well. He was very kind and checked everything to be certain he had the problem diagnosed. He checked and rechecked things. He made sure I had the best price he could find for me. I want to let you know how I appreciated being able to trust someone. Thank you again for people like ****** who are very capable, trustworthy, and sincere. Great honorable people.*********************Review from Derrick R

Would never hire or contract for any job. As a new home owner, I had them come and install the plumbing and the hvac system as a new install. I had to ****** to find it why the hvac wouldn't pass the final inspection. It was a simple fix, a little bypass pump was missing. I told them what they needed to do to fix the issue. They cut a wire on the 240v outlet for the dryer and said they would never do it. I had to have the electrician come back and fix the issue and found, they had cut the wire. Wouldn't reimburse the cost of the fix. They plumbing was pretty good. They had a good knowledge of it, the helper not so much. I had a issue with the sprayer in my kitchen sink and they wanted to charge $135 to come diagnose the issue then$135 plus parts to fix. It was a $20 fix. So the final point, they are not trustworthy and will nickel and dime people. Don't contract or hire them to do anything.DR Heating and Plumbing Response

Hi *******, We apologize that you were not happy with the service you received. As the owner of DR Heating and Plumbing it is always my goal that our customers are happy with our service.I just reviewed your job and listened to the recorded phone calls between you and my office.Your final inspection failed on HVAC because of a missing sensor in the condensing unit, not a bypass pump, which we came and installed once we were notified of the failure. The office called for a new final inspection which passed. Mistakes are made in our industry and we are grateful we have inspectors to give us corrections. It looks like your HVAC rough in inspection passed on 11/22/2021 and you called the office on 4/29/2022 telling my office that we had hit your electrical line to your dryer. My office asked for documentation of the fix and said they would review it with me to see if we would reimburse. You told them "you would call them back because you needed to go back to work." We never received another call and my office never received any documentation of the fix, making it so I could never review this situation. Your plumbing inspection passed on 4/4/2022 and you brought up your faucet the same day as the electrical problem 4/29/2022. Your faucet was not provided by us, my office quoted you our rate for dispatch and an hour of service to come and find the problem and come up with a solution, and that you would only be charged if it was our fault that your faucet wasn't working. At this point you mentioned how we "just nickel and dime people for everything" and choose not to have us come out to provide the service. We apologize if you feel that it is unfair that we charge for our services.Again I am sorry that it came to this point, I feel like if you had sent in the documentation that my office asked for this could have possibly been resolved in a more satisfactory way for the both of us.Review from Stacey M

Read the negative reviews, there's a pattern. We had DR ******************** work with our homeowners insurance to replace our heater as it was unsafe to use in the home we purchased. At the same time we asked that they replace the a/c as there should have been less labor charge since the heater was already out. We had to call and ask to be scheduled for the heater. It sat in their warehouse for over 4 weeks. When they came to replace it at 5 pm after tear out they notified us they didn't have the lp conversion kit and just now realized they needed it as it was propane, they said they'd be back tomorrow to finish it. Side note, tear out of the a/c is 10ft from a **** gallon propane tank. The next day, no one had the part, it had to be overnighted from *****. Long story short we went the full days without heat in ***** degree weather. They could have drove to ***** and back quicker than shipping. We bought two space heaters, they brought in 3, that barely kept the house at 55 with our fireplace. It doubled our power costs while we ran those. We work from home, so there was no relief from the cold. DRs office manager ***** showed no empathy, no apologies, and no discounts for the trouble. She blamed the technician, the technician blamed the office. No accountability for the fact had they checked to make sure they had the parts for the job in the 4-6 weeks they had, the job could have been 100% more successful. While they did provide me a breakout on the $2000 in labor for the ac install I have no way of knowing if they disconnect that because half the work was done on the heater removal. DR or ***** didn't even call with their outcome or decision of no discount. They sent it through email. I will not recommend or use DR in the future.Review from Carly F

We had the BEST experience with DR Heating and Plumbing! ******, the technician, went above and beyond for us. Not only showing up on time, even when I gave the incorrect address, but being so polite and friendly. We had an issue with the water heater we provided and instead of giving us grief he figured our a way to FIX IT so that there could be hot water ASAP. He stayed until 8pm, well past his end time, to make sure everything worked. I will recommend DR Heating and Plumbing to everyone, especially if they have more techs like ******!Review from Denise R

I call DR with a fairly big job, wait over two weeks for my appointment, and on the morning of the job I get a message that theyre not going to show and I am welcome to reschedule. Meanwhile my back yard looks like a swimming pool. They are very unprofessional. Maybe theyre okay fir a leaky faucet but call someone else for larger jobs!Review from Charles D.

Beware of the ***** and CONDITONS, they we gladly accept your down payment and only give you a small three day window to cancel. Even though they can not schedule you out for over 4 weeks. They will keep 20% of the estimate and no actual work completed.DR Heating and Plumbing Response

Hi *******, I am sorry that this presented a bad experience for you. We take the deposit as an agreement that you are going to have us do the work, and our terms and conditions are presented clearly on the estimate that you receive. Once we receive a deposit, after three days the planning process of your job begins and we start accruing costs against your job with time and resources such as money or equipment being put towards your job, this is far from "no actual work completed." *********** is going to gladly accept your money, and a period of 4 weeks until your job is scheduled in the **** and Plumbing industry right now is getting your job done promptly. In addition to this all of our phone calls are recorded and you were informed at the time of deposit the amount of time it would take to be able to schedule and finish your job, I have personally listened to the recording. Again I am sorry that you feel something has been done wrong towards you, but this is our policy.
