On 5/8/24 I went in to use some of my Botox 34 units I had remaining from purchasing a package of units on 9/9/24 and using some on my trapezius muscles to help alleviate very tight, tense and painful shoulders. I explained I wanted my eyes to look more open and to have less puffiness/skin folding above my eyes and the few wrinkles on the side of my eyes so I asked the technician what she thought I needed, she said I needed 40 units on my forehead and 10 units for each eye. I thought this seemed like a lot, so I asked to use just the 34 units I had remaining, she said no and insisted I needed her recommend dose. I trusted her as the expert and agreed, a few days later I noticed my eyes puffier, more eyelid skin folding, my eyes looking smaller and my brows lowered. Now 11 days later I look worse, I am now having vision issues from the heavy puffy eyelids. When I went back into the office on 5/16/24 for a follow up visit because she insisted I come in, all she said was she respected my feelings as I was crying that the opposite of what I asked for happened and she said your forehead looks good and took pictures of me. I asked for a refund of what I paid on 5/8/24 buying another package of Botox units for $508. She said she would have to speak with the owner. We go to Medical Spas because we want trusted experts who have knowledge of ************* anatomy & how they function when they inject neurotoxins but instead after this experience I truly felt the technician pushed what I didnt need to make an extra buck! This is disheartening because I am the one who will now suffer as I have to wait for the Botox to wear off in hopes my eyes will return to how they looked before. I have an up coming vacation in a few weeks and now feel horrible and very self-conscious of my eyes. Instead of my eyes looking refreshed, they look tired, puffy and appear like I am angry everyday. Not really the look I was going for! I am not confident this technician has the experience.
