Disappointed. Beautiful location, very friendly front and back end sales people, but unfortunately the dealerships sales practices are completely in conflict with the dealerships own core values provided on their website. When you shop with us online or in person, you get transparent and honest pricing for the vehicle you want with no surprise fees or hidden extras.We found a good deal online, but when we sat down to buy, there were $6,500 in aftermarket items added to the deal sheet (gps tracking, window etching, ceramic coating,etc). I would absolutely define these as hidden extras. The manager reduced the added costs to $1,400 in negotiation, but I reiterated that didnt need any of these features, and had to walk out.Yes, I know theres fine print in the listing: All Pricing and Advertised Prices for any/all vehicles offered for sale does not include dealer installed accessories which can be purchased for an additional cost. It says CAN, not MUST.I understand that its a common dealer practice to push these items, but Ive never been told that this is required to cover the loss that the dealer is taking on the vehicle.Adjust the online price to clear your cost and move on. Our family drove 1.5hr each way, kept your staff there way too late, and walked away empty handed due to the dishonest practice.

Confirming **************'s Review below Buying used, skip to the next dealer.Was there 1/9/24 ... told that price is not accepted as a cash price, must finance through their bank to get this price ... AND that our pre-arranged financing could not be accepted.Finally, (as leaving) was offered a higher than advertised price (even including taxes and DMV) and insulted.To be clear: Before arrival, made sure I had full financing (not pre-approval) ready from my bank, check possible to sent next day.Arrived, saw the vehicle, went inside with sales guy who then stated that there was ~$6k of dealer installed options that were not included in advertised *************** then came over to "educate" us that the "promotional discount" required financing through their bank and that the advertised price isn't available even as a cash price.Seriously? The price isn't acceptable even as a cash price? What? ... So we left.Manager chased us down and tried to milk 2k more from what we showed as fully approved (and enough to pay for vehicle including all taxes and DMV). As we leave, he scoffs, "if you can't afford it then go".Of course we "can" afford but why pay more than what was advertised. ??? (assuming it was right in the first place)In Future:1) Don't insult your customers 2) Advertise real price please.3) If you are looking for used, consider elsewhere.

I have bought apprx. 600K worth of Ram 5500's, Ram 1500's ***************** + similar Dakota's and a Durango + a Durango RT since 1998.On my 2020 ***********, the Dealership (thru their *********** **** ******* Asst. **** *******) sold me a "Mopar 7yr. Unlimited Mileage $100 Deductible" Warranty listed on my purchase contract but they failed register this since I bought this back 4/2020. Service until ****** miles was not an issue as covered under the 3yr/36K Warranty but I had a breakdown around 40K miles and their service ***** said "no extended warranty is in the national system" so I notified ***** and after several days, my truck was finally fixed at no expense and ***** said the warranty will be registered. Two further breakdowns *****K miles later and same problem that no Mopar warranty shows.Same couple day delay then finally solved, more apologies + promise to get the warranty registered..Last breakdown Oct. 2023 "same problem/SAME ************* BURN" at a dealer closer to my LA Business location I was told "No Warranty in the System and it'll be $1,600 & chng".. After several calls to ***** and days waiting (WAITING) for HB Dodge to solve the Warranty coverage issue, I had no choice but to personally pay the bill and seek reimbursement w/HB. Over a month later, I received a Legal Release email stating HB Dodge non-admission of guilt/non-disclosure, Indemnify them blah blah to agree to or they won't reimburse **** re-stated that this was HB Dodge's error (actual defrauding a consumer failing to honor their Purchase Agreement so IF the agreement was required, then reimburse me for the $3,200 (rounded) Mopar Warranty as liquidated damages but still put that warranty in place as my response to their "not their fault Release". A check was mailed a week later w/out any release + the Warranty was issued.Was towed in to HB 2wks ago and was denied all service/no reason. Being a Roofing Contractor, I need my truck w/it's extension Ladder daily.I

Customer was provided a warranty at no extra cost due to the clerical error and was refunded all out of pocket expenses for any funds incurred that would be covered under the warranty. This customer has been rude and disrespectful to various dealership staff on numerous occasions and the dealership reserves the right to refuse service.

Terrible people are running this dealership and frankly you and me should contact ********** that owns Jeep for destroying the reputation of this ***** ********** ******* by using border line criminal sales practices towards American consumers who want to purchase Jeep SUVs. They advertise really ***************/rebates from their dealership but when you try to buy Jeeps from them they suddenly add an "optional" but MANDATORY "paint protection package" for an additional $4,500. When you say you don't need it, they say that because they give you a discount now you MUST BUY THIS $4,500 package or you would not receive the advertised "discount" from them. They also force you to finance the Jeeps thorough their "partner bank" at high interest rate even though you offer to pay cash for the Jeeps. They are extremally rude and obnoxious during the financial "negotiations" for the final price of the car, constantly telling that they don't care what the salesman told you when you were shopping for the car - YOU MUST BUY the $4,500 package even though it was "optional" according to the ********** guy who was providing a test drive for you. Even though $4,500 MANADATORY CHARGE they were pushing on me for BS package was financially not a big deal for me, I refused to negotiate with them any further because I don't like liars and cheaters that are trying to rip off financially regular people thinking that it's okay. Frankly these people are just plain disgusting to deal with and I would not advise any normal honest person to give them even 1 ***** for the Jeeps they sell.

Every time you call service nobody picks up here. And brought my truck there. And they didn't even call me when it done. Prob hoping I'd leave it over night so they can charge 150 for there storage policy. Make a apnt first thing 7am and told them I will wait around . Because I need my truck third time being fixed this issue. Nope send u home to wait all day and I waited to end of day to call back ask where my truck. Oh ya they fin it awhile back like wtf iv been waited all day for thus call and stuck. And I ask them to check for recall and found out there is a recall and they didn't bring it up. And found out by loging on to my ram app. This recall was there when it went it. Saftey recal . Iv been to allot of dodges this one takes the cake.i wish I looked on here before getting them to fix it 1 sate rating isn't somthing to be proud of.

Was there 12/1 to purchase a 2021 ***** ******** at the advertised price of $****** as we went to start paperwork I was hit with an additional $**** for a package already installed on vehicle . $**** I wasnt aware of nor given notice of til we sat down to go forward with purchase I was told that this is standard with **** , so the advertised price is misleading * * ! Why not just include it in price from the start so what you see is what you get instead of misleading people this is bad business!! PS I didnt buy the ****!

Terrible customer experience with this dealership. Ended up selling my dodge and was completely turned off to the entire brand because of how terrible of an experience dealing with HB dodge is/was.

Bought a vehicle from here and experienced all of the issues that are reported: forceful warranty, waiting over a week for my car and getting it dirty still, no one answering calls, misleading on car pricing, long wait times, the list goes on! Do not buy from this dealership.

*****BEWARE*****If I could make it zero, I would. WORST car buying experience I have ever had. A few highlights:1) They have a mandatory $4500 package they add to every vehicle for items that would be optional on any other purchase. BE AWARE OF THAT, but tell them you will not pay it. Fight for it. They WILL back down.2) Even if you have you own financing, they have signs posted that say you HAVE to go through theirs. They don't give you a choice. I spoke with my credit union and they said to go through them initially and they will take it over with a lower interest rate. 3) I bought my Jeep and didn't get it until 8 days later. I was given 4 different times when "it would be ready", but it wasn't. They kept making excuses. Poor ones. I only got to pick it up then because I pushed and pushed.4) When I did pick it up, it was filthy. Not detailed. Was told "We owe you a detail". I'm supposed to drive it down from ************* (2 1/2 hours) to get it detailed?!?! They apparently couldn't pull that off in the 8 days they had it. 5) It has been a month and they still have not paid off my trade and will not return my calls in regard to that. 6) They DO NOT return calls in general! Not the sales managers, not the ** and especially not your salesman. They do not hold up to their end of their promises. AT ALL!7) When I initially looked at the Jeep, there were 2 keys. When I picked it up, there was only 1. I was promised a second one, but it has now mysteriously gone missing. I was told they would get me a second, but it has been a month and still do not have it. I was told to let them know when I could come down (yes, I have to drive down there AGAIN) and they would give me a second key, but I'd have to wait to have it programmed. Upon an attempt to get confirmation of my selected day, I was told "yeah, we're really busy and it's probably gonna take a lot longer than 30 minutes." I cannot reach my salesman **************, nor the sales managers OR general manager.

This response addresses none of the issues I faced in dealing with this dealership. I have TRIED to contact the general manager and have gotten ZERO return calls. There is no advertised additional $4500 for the package they push on you. This is the type of response I expected. No remorse, no concern for my experience. This is proof.

This dealership falsely advertise discounted car prices = auto dealership fraud! They advertise a special online discount, but when you go to purchase that particular vehicle (confirmed with VIN#), they add a mandatory $4,500 Protection Plan Package without disclosing it in their online advertisement. This "package" include a GPS and some type of paint protection along with an apparent antimicrobial cleaning in the air conditioner, basically an "invisible to the buyer" package. When asked to remove the package, they say it's impossible. They claim that all cars they sell at this particular dealership has this package already installed. Thank you for your reply. This is not what I was told yesterday when I was ready to buy the vehicle for the advertised price. I was told that the aftermarket “Protection Plan Package” was a mandatory purchase for $4,500. When I declined the purchase the price of the vehicle was no longer offered at the advertised price. The vehicle is still advertised with the special online discounted price today. The dealership has my contact information and I welcome a phone call from Mike Harrington to explain why I was forced to buy the aftermarket package in order to receive the advertised price of the vehicle. The advertisement is a dishonest scam. In reviewing Yelp and BBB it appears this has been Huntington Beach Jeep’s practice for some time. Unfortunately in reading some consumers’ reviews it appears some have been tricked into paying for the Protection Plan. I have also reported Huntington Beach Jeep’s practice to The Federal Commission and plan on contacting local news stations with the story with the goal of protecting future consumers.
