They keep sending me threats about foreclosure, but when I call all they tell me blah blah is the amount to payoff. They wont let you make a partial payment. I cant even call to make a normal payment. Its a stupid way to do business. Lets lock out customers and then harass them and make it super difficult to make a payment.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Asked them to remove our information and put on dnc. Agent *************************** said he wouldnt put us on DNC but would stop calling. Then emailed that he would continue to call everyday at 10am and would not cancel the business we started. How is this company in business with 1 star?

Loan officer ***** ***** of Guild Mortgage, **** ****** was contacted to to obtain financing of a home we own to sell to our grand son, During initial meeting, ***** suggested we "Gift" our grandson $*********. We specifically told him we cannot do a gift as it would have tax consequences. He said fine, he will get financing. Our grandson was approed and just prior to closing, loan officer ***** informed us we had no choice but to gift grandson $*********. We at that time had two choices, 1) agree or 2) cancel, If we cancelled, it would devistte our grand son. Now our tax consequence is $*********. ***** ***** did a Bait & Switch

I went into the ******************* location and met with ***********************. I spent three hours with her taking my information and giving feedback about various programs that they offer. I was told about a program that one could qualify for a $6000 ***** in RED LINED AREAS. The link was sent to me, which stated Minorities. I was told by **** that it didn't apply in St. Charles County, only ********* and ********** ********. I found a home. The $6000 changed to $3000, stating THEY RAN LOW ON FUNDS. I stated that a notice of the change would have been greatly appreciated. I was told it had just happened, yet she was on vacation!!! I sent her Emails unresponsive. I called her and she didn't answer! Called back and suggested that I check with Beyond Housing! So I inquired about a 3 2 1 program that *********************** mentioned. **** never explained it to me. Told me programs cannot be combined. **** stated that she would run the numbers for MHDC and send and Email. I haven't heard back! Please don't waste your time going to GUILD MORTGAGE! I have the discrimination link still in my Email. Goal to keep Persons of Color in certain areas. I was told by an Agent that that link is not supposed to be used. I provided ALL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO A COMPANY THAT DISCRIMINATES AGAINST MINORITIES. THERE NEEDS TO A LAWSUIT AGAINST THIS PRACTICE SHE IS USING!!! I have the Emails and the Link available!!! only giving a one cause I cant give a zero. Guild mortgage has not paid my home owners insurance, even though it expired on 7/13/23. I notified them 8/1 2023, and they didnt make a payment till 8/7/2023, which they put in snail mail , with out tracking, instead of overnighting it. I had to make up the additional 2 payments out of my checking account,. My insurance company has still not received the payment and they have no way of tracking it. Very poor customer service.

The SECOND I have the opportunity to refinance, I will. First, Guild laid off my husband in a merger WHILE WE WERE IN THE PROCESS OF BUILDING OUR HOME. Second, they wouldnt allow us to close on the construction loan until our lot had been loamed and seeded, as if grass has anything to do with the building process. Third, we thought Guild was collecting escrow for our homeowners insurance (because were first time buyers and had never heard of any other way) and we HAVE an escrow so why wouldnt it be included? But its not. So now I get to apologize to my poor insurance agent for the two phone calls she made wherein she was apparently treated quite poorly, because she said thats quite a company (her tone suggested that wasnt a compliment) and she had to call back because she didnt enjoy the first call. What kind of company runs like that? If you have no customer service skills, maybe dont answer phones for a living. If she got names, Guild will be hearing from me again.

They made a clerical error on their side with escrow when I switched insurance companies and now they have raised my mortgage several hundred dollars, I will never recommend or go back to guild mortgage ever again, one of the worst experiences. I have talked to them 4 times today, don't rust them anymore

Guild Mortgage company has the worst customer service!Nobody in the escrow impounds department knows what they are doing or in the insurance department. They have tacked on an additional homeowners insurance to my home loan when I already have pre-existing homeowners insurance, after talking to customer service they are three weeks behind and they are still sending out notices and final notices on taxes and insurances..
