This is a poor company regarding keeping customers informed on repair status! All information I received came from my efforts. No notifications, period. I needed my airconditioning repaired and as of the writing of this complaint my system is still not repaired. Very poor customer service!Review from Craig H

On 1-2-2023 I called Collins Comfort Plumbing for a service call and agreed to a $89 trip charge. My final bill was $700 for 38 minutes that he was at my home. The job was to solder 3 joints thats all, I supplied all materials and prep work and I shut the water off at the curb. When the plumber got to my house he estimated the job at $700 I thought that the estimate would be adjusted after he realized what the job actually was. When he was done soldering the 3 joints he said he needed a credit card to pay the $700. I paid with credit card thinking I would call his company and find the mistake. I made many calls to Collins Comfort over the next week to resolve this unethical billing. Finally they gave me 10% off to pacify me and they admit to guilt. I live in a retirement community and I'm a senior. I feel discriminated and taken advantage of by them price gouging. How can 38minutes add up to $700? Thank you ************Review from Liam H

My experience with Collins Comfort Masters started off positively, but turned disappointing after two months of their service. Initially sent for a "complimentary service check" on my AC unit, a technician used the opportunity to inspect my water heater without prior consent. I was then pressured to replace the water heater to prevent potential damage, with a hefty quote of $2600 for a 50-gallon electric water heater. When expressing my intention to get other quotes, the technician unexpectedly charged me $90 for the visit that was supposed to be complimentary. As a *******supported business, I expected more transparency and professionalism, making this experience with Collins Comfort Masters quite disappointing and questionable in terms of their business practices.Review from Brian K

Heed the warning of all the other 1-star reviews and DO NOT do business with this company. They aggressively over charge for their labor services and purposefully under-document their invoices using vague and meaningless job descriptions to avoid accountability. As an example, ***********************Level 2" for them translates to digging a trench of 50 linear feet, placing a plastic tube in it, connecting the ends and refilling the dirt. Available for the price of $8,000.Review from Carole H

Called Collins to fix my plugged up kitchen sink. When the repair man came he got under the sink and proceeded to take things apart . Charged us $****** and never unplugged the sink. and the sink was stilled plugged! They work on commission. He went out in the garage and told us the water heater was installed with a second hand one, we bought it new at Lowes.!He said the same "plumber" installed a water softener and ran it into the water heater pan. Flooded the garage ???? News to us. The water softener was installed by H20Concepts two years old. So obviously he didn't know what he was talking about. He was here to fix my kitchen drain. Didn't ever ask him to go in the garage. Drain was still plugged when he left.We called them ( Collins ) they wanted to send the same guy out. No! We called another plumber and he fixed it . for $150. I called Collins and requested they refund 150 and they refused. They offered us 50, the first time then 97, second time. I told them they should pay for the second plumber. since they charged us ****** for nothing. We have been a customer of them for 11 years. Bought a furnace and AC from them.And they did the maintence. Will not do business with them again.Review from Rondalyn C

UNPROFESSIONAL TO SAY THE LEAST. Never showed for appointment called twice to find out that they were not showing up at all, after waiting all morning. Check yelp and ****** reviews before calling them out or doing business with them . Good luck.....Collins Comfort Masters Response

Terrible work ethic. They charge a lot of money and dont do thorough work and follow up. Charged me a lot of money for installing a unit on my house which works good in part of the house. The unit that was already there cooled the whole house whereas the new one does not.Review from Isht S

I purchased a variable speed high-end EL-18 Lennox heat pump system from them last month. When they actually installed my AC, they dismantled the wrong unit in my attic which was actually in perfect working condition. Leaving me with no choice but to have my working unit rebuilt with used parts or buy a second unit "at a discount" from them. I had to suffer $8k loss because of them to buy this second unit. Further, the salesperson told me I would get rebate through ****** and mail-in rebate from ******. He even wrote on the invoice how much to expect for these rebates. When I submitted mail-in rebate to ****** they declined it saying I don't qualify as I got ****** shop card from ******. The Collins sales rep won't even respond to my calls any more. Stay away from Lennox and Collins Comfort Masters. Can't believe they cheat their customers openly and get away with it.Review from Rasheed R

I hav a very long story but will make it short,Start first on installation day not enough tech & half of my AC units,Install was going well till they created a water leak in my ceiling,My Air flow in my upstairs was swap to downstairs,My units was placed in the wrong position,They blow my attic & there was a monsoon in my master bedroom room,I sent all of the over the the company They never compensate me for the headache and the cleaning,This was back in August has of today 12/24/22 no one has not contacted me for a follow up on my system Very disappointing.Review from Jeff M

They did a great job Installers had an issue with the size of the opening to the attic. They made it work and did an incredible job
