I was told about the personality test and I figured I would take it. I saw that it would require what seemed to be a one time charge of $1.99. Weeks later, I looked and saw that $30 had been taken from my bank account. It seems I somehow signed up for a subscription, and made an account with them, despite not deliberately consenting to any of that. I did not create a password for this account. When I tried to log in to this account I did not create, I was unable to because I have no idea what the password is. On the website, there is a “forgot password” button. I entered the email that is associated with my Apple Pay, which is what I used to pay the $1.99. It said that it would email me instructions to get into my account. This never ended up happening. I emailed them hoping that they would cancel this subscription for me but I have not heard back from them. I’m sure this was hidden somewhere in the terms and conditions, and I understand that I should’ve looked closer. However, I don’t even recall seeing any terms or conditions, and the charge that I paid was only listed as “$1.99”. Them creating an account and password for me without my consent, that I cannot get into, is incredibly shady.

I called and gave them my order number and told me that they are all on back order, they sent me a coupon card in the mail registered, and told me this is a 50% of card for the inconvenience. on 3 September I received an email reply from my complaint. For the past several months I've received calls from a 888 number, one day I decided to answer and a woman started to tell me that she was calling from LJ Legal group and I was being sued for $6000. She wanted to verify my information including my SSN and my address. Something didn't sound right so I immediately hung up. They continued to try to contact me by calling and by text messages but I wouldn't respond. They eventually called my sister who lives across the country from me. She gave me the message and I called them again. First of all they couldn't connect me with the woman who left the message they connected with me some random guy. He started to tell me the same information as before but this time he said I was being sued by VIP Loan Shop, which I had never heard of so I immediately put it into Google while he was still talking and pulled up information about them being a fraud. I cut him off as he was trying to verify my information and told him what I found on Google. He immediately got offended and said that I couldn't have a civilized conversation so before hanging up I told him I would contact my court system and the BBB to check on the status of his company.

I purchased an item from this merchant as their competitor was sold out. They used the exact same product photos as the competitor and pricing. When I was checking out, a free “Mystery Gift” was added which contained zero description about this add-on nor any terms and conditions. I was unable to remove this “mystery gift” add-on so I just went ahead with the purchase. Upon receiving the product, it looked nothing like as it was advertised and the overall quality was cheap. I contacted the company and explained that this was a fake/rip-off as the advertised photos were misleading. They tried to offer a partial refund which I refused since this was clearly a counterfeit drop-shipping scam. Their “hassle-free” return policy involves the customer paying for international shipping to the UK. I had to call my bank to counter the charge. During this process I noticed I was charged almost $40 for a “mystery-gift” which was a 35% off coupon (again, I could not deny the add-on nor was there any information about recurring charges). I asked the merchant to remove the charge. They acknowledged the “mistake” however they never removed the charge so now I have to go through another charge-back claim process with my bank. Do not purchase anything from this vendor.
